I would have been more likely to have felt she was an authentic Christian had she not had breast implants.

That was my POINT - Christianity has NOTHING to do with boob jobs. You are wrong, Christianity speaks voluminously against glorifying the body over Christ.

Because her character and values are negated by having a boob job, Christian wise, that's why Your personal ultra-rigid Christianity judgements are yours, not anyone elses. If you're so uptight about women, go somewhere and pray for them, and stop painting all the rest of the Christians with the fears of your own narrow little mind.

‘You are wrong, Christianity speaks voluminously against glorifying the body over Christ. “
It also talks about taking care of your body. Can women wear makeup? Or is that wrong too?
What you are saying has no biblical basis and hurts this young woman, Christians, and Conservatives. It also makes you look the fool.

Don’t know you at all, but I get the impression that you might have a case of the reda$$! Maybe you’ll feel better if you scroll down to gman992’s posting of another bikini-clad darlin’. Too bad you won’t be able to tell whether SHE has had a boob job.

You are wrong, Christianity speaks voluminously against glorifying the body over Christ. "Voluminously" indeed - that's why you can quote so many sources for it.
You invoke Christ with a sneer. I think what you believe about Christianity is not printable.

Fortunately, I can look at Carrie Prejean’s boob job to counteract the thread’s ugliness....

Your personal ultra-rigid Christianity judgements are yours Not my judgment, it's what the Bible says, and I didn't write it.
My point is, if a women, who has become a political lighting rod is going to go out and say she holds an opinion based on her Christian upbringing and the goes out and violates a basic tenant of the same religion to get ahead, well it does kind of make us look a bit foolish, doesn't it?
I'm Christian, I am not perfect, but I don't go out and espouse my religion in direct contradictions, that's all I am saying.

I can’t recall where the Bible proscribes implants. Could you provide the reference?
To: driftdiver
Can women shave their pits too or should Christian men only like au-natural women? You equate hygiene with a boob job, then call me a hypocrite.
You have demonstrated why I wouldn't comment.

...it's what the Bible says ...violates a basic tenant ...I'm Christian... Okay "Christian," once again, where is this addressed in the Bible, and what is the source for your interpretation?
For such a fervent believer, this should be a simple question to answer, since you're no doubt posting from your knowledge of it right now.
So, where is it?

I believe what the New Testament says's, just like the Constitution. If you have a problem with that, well, that just it, your problem.
