"The Justice Department's inspector general has agreed to investigate whether ACORN has applied for or received any DOJ grant money, in the wake of bipartisan criticism of the community activist group's operation.
And seven other inspectors general are being asked by two congressional members to take a look at their funding mechanisms."

Big deal... I don't think our money was funnelled to them through the DOJ anyway.
Yep. Holder can’t be trusted.
We investigated and found we didn’t do anything wrong.
Have a nice day. :D
This Inspector General had better toe the line or he’ll be out on his backside.
At this point in time we are neutered, we have no commander, no general no one with power to represent the American people and put these criminlas behind bars.
Fine is a well respected man and will do a thorough job. Every IG should be doing what he is regarding ACORN.
Another case of the pot calling the kettle . . . oh wait - that’s racist.
Glenn Fine is the DOJ Inspector General....
This is laughable. And ACORN will no longer have anything to do with the census. Any more fairy tales ?
Is this the same DoJ that dropped the charges against the Black Panthers in Philadelphia? Guess we already know what the outcome of this “probe” will be, don’t we.
JoMa
There might be enough investigations that a total white-wash might not be possible (remember, the Government Oversight committee released a report in July as well).
Fox.....henhouse....
I know I'm already feeling probed.
No. The Inspector General is the person charged with auditing the operations of the Dept. He was appointed many years ago , and has operated in this post before Obama was elected.
It is the Attorney General (Eric Holder) who dropped the Panther charges.
I learn a lot from F.R. posters, but am often appalled at how many shoot off their mouths without knowing what they are talking about.
