Two US delegates left early, with one saying "it was awful, we couldn't stand it any longer". He declined to be identified.

A DEM would have identified himself proudly.

Must be a RINO. Eff 'em.

Cheers!

Another from the United States said: "She frightens me because she strikes a chord with a certain segment of the population and I don't like it."

McCain then refused further comment.

this is what we call a 'thinly-disguised and politically motivated pre-planned exit'.

On another thread , the truth is out there. Two did leave, AFTER THE SPEECH, during the question period.

Been there, done that. Lotsa "me too's", I'm sure! But, they need to fing something negative, don'tcha know?

Interesting that neither wanted their identities published.

That certain segment of the population that frighten the delegate happen to believe in the US Constitution, capitalism and limited government and are certainly a scary group.

Two DNC plants to get this quote into the paper. Likely had ACRIME pay the bill.

Interesting. So, 2 0bots got up and left AFTER the speech during the Q & A period. My bet is that they planned to do this all along. I hope an official transcript is made available so the media can’t distort what she said. I read on a earlier thread that it is up to both Palin and the organization if a transcript will be made public.

re: She frightens me because she strikes a chord with a certain segment of the population and I don't like it.

Wow, change the first word to “He” and it sounds like they are feeling like we were this time last year. We watched Obama spin his web, work his magic and gain more and more support with every dulcet pear-shaped tone. Many of us knew in our gut he didn't have what it takes but our protestations fell on deaf ears.

Welcome to the club ObamaBots! You ain't seen nothing yet!

"and could aggravate poverty

Exactly the right tone to take. The Dems Achilles heel is their false care for the poor. What Obama is doing is hurting the poor - driving up unemployment, increasing health care costs, raising energy taxes. Oh yes, all these hurt the poor.

I'll bet the Mainstream Media Media will howl against her on this one! The MSM is sooo in the tank for Obama and his Liberal/Progressive friends. Can they get any wetter?

By all reports it was an excellent and thought-out speech.

The vast majority of quotes from the event are positive and complimentary. She is going to surprise alot of people. The RINO establishment of the GOP might as well hop on board the bus now...the meal ticket politicos only have so much time. Wait to long and you get cutoff.
