.......Last night I stumbled upon a post at Media Matters — or, as I like to call it, the George Soros Steno Pool. Media Matters is a leftwing “media watchdog” that monitors conservative talk radio and FOX News, then refutes their daily “lies.”
So Media Matters is supposed to be all about facts and truth and “telling the whole story.” Got it.
Apparently, though, telling the whole story about, say, the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy in Dallas in 1963 means leaving out one itty bitty detail that doesn’t fit the doctrinaire Media Matters narrative: the name and political affiliation of JFK’s assassin.
In a typo-riddled post entitled “A President was killed the last time right-wing hatred ran wild like this,” Eric Boehlert bemoans the “increasingly violent rhetorical attacks on Obama,” and the “unvarnished hate and name-calling [sic] passed for health care ‘debate’ this summer.”

When I see garbage like this coming from “Media Matters”, I know that Daddy Warbucks Soros is starting to panic. This is a good sign.
Democrats are attempting to conquer the country with an anti-Constitutional ideology. They will give lip service to observing the niceties of the legal system until they are fully in power. Anyone who is half awake sees what they are doing. Their allegiance is to party first, country last.

This is all about demonizing conservatives so that if God forbid the President is attacked they will swing into full mode on clamping down on their opponents. What ignorance they have because even if one believes Oswald was a “patsy” used by insiders: JFK was still not killed by Right Wingers. This is what happens when partisan hacks control the dialectic.

Point often neglected - when LHO tried to killing the “right-wing” Gen. Walker, he ditched the manlicher-carcano nearby. Had his plot against Walker been successful, he would’ve never had the gun he used on 11/22/63 and probably would’ve been on the run or in jail.

what are your thoughts on the supposed second rifle found on the 6th floor by deputies boone and weitzman on the afternoon of 11/22/63? the mauser rifle they found and identified? kind of an interseting take if it is true. I’m not sure myself but I have not studied the event to much.
They need to be investigated by the Secret Service right away: they are accessories before the fact.

That Oswald was a Marine is proof enough that he was a right-winger. Marines kill lots of leftists and totalitarians and are now engaged in the ongoing killing of the left’s favorite ally - muslim terrorists. That fact is sufficient to earn the unending vile and hatred of American leftists.
I think it is ignorance. It is so easily refuted that it can’t be an attempt at misinformation. It shows how utterly fogged up the brains are of these rabid Commies. It was one of their own, a fellow Commie, who killed Kennedy. History books like to gloss this over. When the assassination occurred, the news media were first saying that Lee Harvey Oswald was a segregationist. “The South” was being blamed for Kennedy’s death. Nothing has changed. The fevered Commie media is always hiding the truth about their own evil, wicked, vile, disgusting ways.
This is a common misconception. There was no second rifle found in the TSB on 11/22/63. Oswald’s manlicher-carcano was the Italian version of the German mauser rifle and is often confused with it. When the deputies found the rifle, it would have been more accurate if they had said ‘mauser-type’ rifle or said they indicated they meant ‘mauser’ is a generic sense, like saying Coke, but meaning cola in general.
If you are interested, the two books that definitively resolve this case are “Case Closed” by Gerald Posner and “Reclaiming History” by Vincent Bugliosi. The Posner book is much shorter while the Bugliosi book is more for the hard-core student of the assassination.
Only these days, who am I to say it's not plausible.

sounds good, I’ll have to pick up those two books tomorrow and read up. I followed the story as it happened for a few years, read everything (well, what was out anyway, not much really, or at least that I found anyway) but then the entire event kinda faded from my interest. thanks for the book suggestions.
