[West Lafayette, Indiana] Today, a coalition of Young Americans for Liberty chapters throughout Indiana will confront self-proclaimed communist Bill Ayers and challenge him on issues important to college students and youth at Purdue University. The group will distribute flyers and pocket constitutions and attempt to confront Ayers at the Lawson building at 6 p.m.
"We want to bring awareness to his radical views because we are the generation that his to live with the consequences of his policies, which directly contradict liberty." said Nathan Murphy, Purdue chapter president of Young Americans for Liberty.
According to Irwin Weiser, interim dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Purdue University, Bill Ayers as invited by the university as a "...distinguished professor of curriculum and instruction at the University of Illinois-Chicago." Tonight at 7 p.m., he will speak before an invitation-only Cummings-Perrucci lecture consisting of 100 Purdue faculty members and administrators.
The coalition of YAL chapters will work not only to expose Ayers' radical policies, but also to challenge the administration's stifling of free speech on campus. According to activist Jake Witteveen, there will be "protest zones" across the street from the building Ayers will be speaking in. While Ayers' speech will be held in a publicly-funded university building, any demonstrator will be restricted to these zones.
In addition to Mr. Ayers being dead wrong on his notion that capitalism is equivalent to imperialism, we also want to expose Ayers' hypocrisy," said Austin Brenneman, Indiana State Chairman of Young Americans for Liberty. "President Obama has significantly increased the number of troops in Afghanistan and has failed to fulfill his promise on Iraq. We will confront Ayers' complacency on the policies that are shaping our generation's Vietnam."

Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is the continuation of Ron Pauls youth campaign, Students for Ron Paul, and was officially endorsed by Congressman Paul on December, 2 2008. YAL seeks to recruit, train, educate, and mobilize students on the ideals of liberty and the Constitution. This is not a new beginning but a continuation of the over 26,000 students who joined Ron Pauls youth campaign just over a year ago. Young Americans for Liberty is an independent student organization associated with the Campus Leadership Program through CampusReform.org.

How did your alumni protest organizing go?
Ask him if he helped write Obama’s books.
What an embarrassment. Purdue was conservative when I was there...
hh

Ask him why he wanted to Bomb Police headquarters when he was in his twenties, but last year, called the Police from his expensive townhouse when a Fox news reporter asked him questions outside his home??
some radical! A REALLLL revolutionary!@ha!
NO cheers, unfortunately.
Already spread this to a Tea Party group weeks ago; hopefully we can send this real (not “political”) Terrorist packing back to the rathole which is Chicago.
I second that.
Ayers and Obama are equally pieces of dog squeeze.
Who were the lunkheads at Purdue who invited this cretin to speak?
They should be ostracized.
Bingo ! Great stuff ! thanks !
