I heard about it a couple of days ago and it made me feel uncomfortable, yuck! Apparently she had sex with him the night before her wedding!!

I saw her interview on Oprah, she appeared to be truthful, however when you are so strung out on dope, can you really know what you did, how you did it, when you did it, and was it real?
They both sounded like they were out of their minds on drugs.

One of the entertainment programs ran a poll where people were asked whether or not they would purchase the book. 66% said they would NOT because they heard enough already. Who knows whether or not she is telling the truth. The same entertainment program said that the daughter of a another bandmate (Denny) said it was common knowledge that something was going on. Why would I trust a woman who married a man who was already well-known to be a big-time drug addict? Worse than doing her own Dad, is the fact that she is making it public. Jeeze, this is the stuff for the councelors office, not the Oprah show.
On the other hand, anything she does from here on out can be worse. Let’s say one day she does her ‘friends husband’ and confesses to that on Oprah. If that happened, I’d think to myself, “Well, that’s not as bad as the time she ‘did’ her father.

some people long for attention... they will do many things to shock people... i'm not saying this is what she is doing, but it's possible... i agree that this is not something to air out on television...

To normalize it. This may not be MacKenzie Phillips' intention, but it's Satan's intention.
Get stories like this on daily talk shows, the nightly news, in movies, "thoughtful" or "hard hitting" documentaries, and gradually we will begin to "understand" perversion. Throw in support from "experts" in psychiatry, medicine, anthropologists and science and we will begin to rationalize perversion. Liberalize the churches to eliminate any opposition from those who "hate."

Poke around a bit, and you'll see the beginnings of the normalization of pedarasty and consensual incest.
