I was going to make a joke about knowing what grassroots conservatives want to find under the tree this year, but come on. Waiting six weeks until Christmas? Some of you guys will be lined up outside the bookstore a week before it drops.

The 400-page book is the first for Palin, who has been an object of fascination since Republican Sen. John McCain chose her as his running mate during his 2008 presidential bid. The book will be called “Going Rogue: An American Life.”

I’ll certainly get it, but I wonder about the title. It seems a tad on the harsh side. Doesn’t rogue usually have negative connotations? I’d think she would be better off with a more positive-sounding title.

To me, going rogue means that someone isn’t gonna take crap from anyone. She was called “rogue” during the campaign because she no longer listened to them(The entire campaign was a train wreck) she wanted no part of it, and decided to do things her way, I like it.

I remember that. I just think there was probably a more upbeat sounding title out there. But, Harper Collins and News Corp have way more experience in publishing than I do and know a whole lot more about it so if they’re ok with it, I’ll go with them. I doubt she forced the title on them or anything.

Like it says in the article, its her book, her life, her words. I think Sarah knows this book will be the most scrutinized book EVER in the history of books so she knows the deal. 400 pages is A LOT to have written in such a short time, but since she keeps journals, she probably had half the book done already, just had to add some extra parts. It’s gonna be a great book.
Since no one is using the Republican party maybe the old losers occupying the space won’t mind if we take it from them for some practical use.

Precisely. But, CNN was speculating the other day that Hilary will run and probably win after 0’s second term.
