Forcing vaccines on health care workers and first-responders in the event of a public health emergency is an absolutely justifiable practice - it’s the only way that they can prevent them from being carriers of a possibly deadly pathogen. If they don’t like it, they’re at liberty to quit.

This is an outrageous assault on personal freedom.
There is no way in h*** I'll take this unproven potentially toxic vaccine. The "benefits" simply do not outweigh the risks.

Kind of a BS argument. These people are exposed to “deadly pathogens” every single day. What makes this one so special?

In my experience, admittedly in a jurisdiction far from New York, the answer would be yes. They’re required to have many, many immunizations as a matter of course.
