What constitutes rape in Whoopi’s world?

When the perp is a Republican.

The entire Left/Commie/Democatic/Lib establishment flushed itself with Clinton. Up until then, I could at least maintain the fiction that there were a handful of thinking, breathing, moral people on the other side, even if I disagreed with them on political issues. But when all but one of the NOW chapters defended Bill Clinton, the serial rapist who "kept abortion legal" I decided that I really was right...there are no real morals on the other side.

NOW always argued that rape was so serious that a woman would never lie about it, that the man was ALWAYS guilty if a woman cried "rape"! They supposedly believed that Anita Hill was opressed (when the person accused was a conservative.) They rushed to the defense of every woman who claimed to be even looked at funny by a man, and mandated silly, demeaning "sensitivity classes" for those (read "all men") they judged guilty.

Under NOW's draconian watch, even paying a compliment to a woman was banished. And yet, when it was Bill Clinton, the "charming bastard" who used his political power over an impressionable girl, who cheated on his wife, who lied under oath, who defiled the Oval Office, who made us a laughing stock in the eyes of the world...when it was Bill, NOW's memebers fluttered their blind eyes like foorlish schoolgirls, and rolled over like a two-dollar-a-go Yokohama whore.

"Rape-rape" surely is what you get if a televangelist, or a Republican, or a racist oppoenant of the President does it. Clearly, if a Democrat/Liberal does it, it's not as serious or as truamatic for the woman.

This is what I despise about the other side. At least if there were one set of rules I could respect them for believing in what they claim to believe. But no, with Democrats, the rules change to give them the best outcome. That is the primary defference between the two.

A white male who is not involved with the arts having sex with any female.

Holy carp, imagine the hue and cry if a white guy made a statement like that. The nags would be apoplectic.

But that’s like using the ‘can you imagine if Bush did [name the Obama sin]...liberals are nothing if not completely and totally hypocritical toward different types of people.

And they claim tolerance. Hmmmph.

Polanski plea bargined it down to statutory rape. He was photographing the 13 year old girl in a two piece bathing suit and coaxed her into removing the bra and then the bottom. He told her to get in a hot tub and continued to shoot. He then removed his clothing and got in the hot tub with her. He began to fondle her and she got up and fled into a bedroom. (It was at Jack Nicholson’s house.)

Polanski followed her in and asked her if she was on the pill and when she had last had her period. When she didn’t respond, he anally sodomized her. She said she didn’t cry out because she was afraid of him.

No, it wasn’t “rape” rape, it was just a liberal man initiating a young woman in the pleasures anal sodomy.

It should be named “The Liberal View”

It should be renamed, "Embarrassment to Females Everywhere"

What mother on the planet (other than Whoopie) would ever consider the drugging and raping of a 13 year old okay because Americans have a "different" view of the world than Europe? Or better yet, blame it on the mother rather than the rapist?

Wow. That’s why this Board is so important. We discuss the truth, for all its warts - if we dare to look.

‘rape-rape’ that, Whoopi.

I use that example whenever a liberal defends the unconstitutional policies of a leftist Congress/President with “the majority voted for them, vote them out next time”.

Well, if 6 men and 4 women voted on whether the women should be raped and the motion passed - I guess the women will just have to put up with it until the next “election”.

She’s a liberal.

She's trash. I just let ABC know that I am boycotting everything that has to do with their network.

Exactly. Whatever the liberals and Democrats talk about is an illusion. Because they shift the rules, morals and definitions of things at their own whim.

We’ve even seen this with the Constitution and with activist judges (certainly). Why not with pop culture.

You cannot trust liberals, nor what they say. You certainly cannot trust liberal promises of ‘centrism’ which is why we were SO DISGUSTED with the Obama worship and with RINOs nuzzling up to the liberal lies, for some moment of recognition on the Formerly MSM.

Right. Majority rule is fine for elections and bills, etc., and we would also be way better off if that majority actually read, knew and understood the USC. But to demean protest against unConstitutional actions in between elections - is downright UNAMERICAN.

OK, that’s a good working definition for liberals anyhow.

Whoopi Goldberg was born in the Chelsea section of Manhattan in 1955 as Caryn Elaine Johnson. She worked in a funeral parlor and as a bricklayer while taking small parts on Broadway. She moved to California and worked with improv groups, including Spontaneous Combustion, and developed her skills as a stand-up comedienne. She came to prominence doing an HBO special and a one-woman show as Moms Mabley. She has been known in her prosperous career as a unique and socially conscious talent with articulately liberal views. Among her boyfriends were Ted Danson and Frank Langella. She was married three times and was once addicted to drugs.

Then when caught he pleaded guilty. Then he fled the country.
