Some may be, but it is clear that most aren't by the fact that "Oh God" has to syllables while "Obama" has three syllables that is the number you can clearly hear. Also, a little over a minute in, the mic moves close to someone and the name Obama is very clear, no doubt.
I believe you're correct. I listened with my eyes closed, so as not to be distracted by the captions on the video. Sounds like "Oh God" and not "Obama."
It would be bad to have the release of this video turned against conservatives. There would be more credence to this if we could get an interview with someone who was there. IMHO.

It's a bit confusing since the editors show "Deliver us, Obama" as they make the response. But I listened to it a second time, and I think you're right.
As best I could tell, the first two times, it was "Deliver us, O God." And the same the fourth and last time. But the third time, I thought I heard people saying both "O God" and "Obama."
Both times, too, I wondered if there was some sort of pun on the preliminary text: "Is their no balm in Gilead?" It sounded like "Nobama." But it was really "no balm."

I’ve listened a few times now- I hear both being said- 3 syllables for Obama and 1 for God. I think it was a combination of chanters..
Bizarre. Maybe a techie can break it down and get some clarity.
I heard both God and Obama. I wouldn’t get too excited about this until someone can verify (audio enhancement, whatever) that some were saying “Obama”. Until that happens, keep your power dry on this one, IMO.

Yep. With that one. With many of the other chants, however, they are clearly saying “Obama”. Some clearer than others. I think some are saying “God” while others are saying “Obama”.

It doesn’t sound like “O God” at all - not enough syllables, for one thing. Listen to it again; you can clearly hear “Deliver us Obama,” with a couple of voices standing out loud and clear.
This is not surprising at all; it was in the context of a political rally about Bambi’s “healthcare” plan, and these people are simply nutz. I doubt that this is the only time this has happened.

I don’t think so... There are 3 distinct syllables in the responses, and no hard “D” (or “G” for that matter). You can clearly hear them say “Hear Us, Obama” at 2:36.
