A gay man who repeatedly gave blood after lying about having sex with other men is suing Canadian Blood Services, alleging the questionnaire used by the agency to screen out unsuitable donors is a violation of his charter rights. Kyle Freeman alleges the blood collection agency violates his charter rights and those of other gay men by asking male donors on the questionnaire whether they had ever had sex with a man, even once, since 1977.

It’s far from certain that a woman would know about every sex partner of her sex partner(s).

The questionnaire I reviewed seems to avoid the sort of specificity you suggest.

it’s like the gays that are always trying to get me to come over to their side. Have they alredy soiled all of their own and now theyre moving on to the pure straight men? maybe they don’t feel safe with their own kind anymore.

If i was a medical doctor i’d learn how to do castrations and the next time one of them tried to rape me I’d save the rest of the pure men of the world from his reign of terror right then and there. what’s he going to do, whine tot he cops?

Nobody who’s been to certain Asian or tropical locales has a problem with the restrictions. Not every one of them has a tropical disease, but it’s proven to be worth the exclusions.

India and Cairo -- I don't give blood anymore. (Is it 10 years before you can give again?)

But you could definitely go after a wreckless endangerment charge.

I guess "wreckless" would be at the core of the definition of "endangerment," assuming you were acting recklessly. Once the wreck occurred, it's no longer "endangerment."

The problem is spiritual. The existence of purity reveals the sin, so the pure must be compromised.

In the 1980's, thousands of Canadians became infected with contaminated blood (HIV and Hepatitis).

Wasn't that blood sold to us by then Governor Clinton, taken from prisoners in Arkansas?

Some of it — yes, I believe so. Imagine the uproar if Bush had done that!

was that the Arkansas prisoner blood scandal during Clinton’s term(s) as governor ? ( though to be fair, Arkansas was selling prisoners blood since 64)

2 sets of rules, right?

I tried to explain this to a woman today, and yet when she asked me to explain why the media controls our “news” the way they do, all I could come up with is that the media thinks they are part of “them”, not part of “us”.

I’m not sure she believed me. :-(

Homosexuals just frankly don’t care about other people; just about themselves and that their “message” that “gay is good” is heralded around the world. They could care less that others die because of what they want to do.
