U.S. military troops will begin getting required swine flu shots in the next week to 10 days, with active duty forces deploying to war zones and other critical areas going to the front of the vaccine line, a top military commander said Tuesday.
Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart also told The Associated Press that as many as 400 troops are ready to go to five regional headquarters around the country to assist federal health and emergency management officials if needed as the flu season heats up.
The Pentagon has bought 2.7 million vaccines, and 1.4 million of those will go to active duty military. National Guard troops on active duty are also required to receive the vaccine, as are civilian Defense Department employees who are in critical jobs.

Am glad to see resistance rising to this initiative for 'mandatory' efforts to innoculate citizenry. This Government no doubt, surprised by the fact that despite their greatest 'nanny efforts' to dumb down and usurp personal responsibility' and replace with 'State will'; that there is still enough Mind out there; to think and to resist.
(Of course; they never stop trying; and beyond MO of 'crisis and fear'; we now hear the sounds of 'change/hope' in the chanting voices of our schoolchildren; promising a victory to those whose 'will' must first, overcome our own. )
Yep...we have already been notified. I get some sort of mandatory flu shot tomorrow, but I don’t think it is H1N1 yet...that is coming later, I think.

No kidding...I got those shots and they HURT like crazy. After I got the series they said, “oops I guess we don’t need these afterall”...lol
between 15 and 20 troops have been dispatched to each of the five regional headquarters...But the military presence could rise to 80 in each regional office if needed

This H1N1 vaccine and the extensive coordination with state and local government, the military, FEMA, etc. is very "fishy".
I will wrap myself in tinfoil for a moment and predict that that the early "assessment" of the vaccine from the military usage comes back smelling like roses via the White Hut / MSM propaganda machine.
Hey, if it's safe for the military and it's safe for medical workers, then it's certainly safe for the rest of us! Snort.
I will refuse to take this rushed, unproven Government concocted H1N1 brew no matter what.

For those who have no choice but don’t want the H1N1 vaccine, buy a snake bite kit at a sporting good store. Read somewhere that for relatively shallow injections, a considerable amount of the injected substance can be drawn out.

The vaccine will most likely be of the nasal mist type.
I warned my kid about the shots, especially since NJ might mandate all school kids get one or get kicked out and if they do that here in MO he’ll probably have to go to summer school to graduate. Anyway, an interesting thread about vaccines being tampered with by the world death organization.

My last mandatory flue shot was in 1976. The previous years I always had it and always came down with a mild case of the flu (I know, it’s supposed to be a “killed virus” vaccine). 1976 was different, it turns out we were test subjects.
We were given the shots on a Friday afternoon. I spent Saturday and Sunday in bed, barely making it in to the post for sick call Monday morning. The clinic was packed and the line went out the door and around the parking lot. People were hardly able to stand. Inside a nurse was waiting with forms to record our symptoms. We were sent home with a 3 day bed rest order.
That was my last flu shot, I dodged it for the next 10 years until I retired and never again had a case of the flu.
If it’s any consolation you should soon hear about the short term side effects if there are any, as mass injection has already started in Australia.
It was mentioned in a news reports that injections aren’t usually distributed so soon after they were developed, but that the technique for creating this one was the same as usual, and their may be localised swelling as a side effect.
Memories of Gulf War Syndrome, that’s why it’s an issue for so many.
I still remember the photo in LIFE magazine of the young son of a Gulf War Veteran. The boy’s father had numerous vaccinations during the Gulf War. The boy was born after the war, with a birth defect....he has no arms; his hands are attached to his shoulders. The soldier father blames the vaccines.
My elderly father received a flu vaccine at a VA clinic in November, 2002. The next day, he had the sniffles. The following day, his body was as cold as ice; he couldn’t even drink a glass of water without throwing up. We took him to the hospital, and he developed both pneumonia and congestive heart failure. We nearly lost him, but he recovered after one week in the hospital. He never was 100% back to the way he was before. Never again did he take a flu shot, and I won’t take one either.
I’ve never taken one, never had the flu and never intend to take one. There is nothing they can do that will force me to take it. We will head out of here to our vacation home if they start some mandatory crap. We don’t need to fly. We can get on the boat, and head right on out of here.
Even in the military, I would think that one could refuse a vaccine under religious or philisophical reasons.
I mean, the leftists think it’s noble when a military person rejects war and fighting. They think it’s noble when they protest stuff cause they’re homosexual. Let’s see how noble they think refusing to take this untested and unproven vaccine is.
Can you get your doctor to sign off on them?
i really dnt think that they should get the Flu shot.
so many ppl have been getting so SICK with it. its still all so new. i mean how do they REALLY know how 2 prevent it when it like just came out???
idk...i just dnt think its gonna go very well.
