Actually I recall that there were quite a large number of protests including by a 70+ year old grandma, and that there was a lot of public reporting and exposure of the illegal seizure order, and that the practice was halted almost immediately, and that Louisiana and several other states passed laws prohibiting any seizure of firearms during the course of “public emergencies.”
Hardly a “grumbling protest.”
I know many people who would not only be relieved, but rejoicing and dancing in the streets if our military would do to Barry what the Guatemalan Army did to Zelaya

Don’t know what is meant by “dictatorship” or what form that might take in America, but if it means by force of arms, that would be very difficult to accomplish, and serve no purpose.

It’s necessary to keep perspective, and to recall that America has always been on the precipice, that the Founding Fathers were also concerned with a “fascist dictatorship”, that we have prevailed against various forms of statism repeatedly throughout American history, and that there always is the hope and possibility that we might prevail against the current trials.
And of course there are several very ominous trends which must be quickly halted and reversed.

Are you suggesting that everyday Harry Homeowner citizens should have engaged in firefights with better-armed and organized law enforcement officers?
