So this is the result of amnesty? Interesting..........It's not the result of amnesty (NH was going down hill long before then) but it's certainly added to the problem to be sure.

Public Act 07-163 requires the lawful owners of any firearm, instead of just assault weapons, stolen from them to file a police report within 72 hours after they discover or should have discovered the theft.Who defines "should have discovered"? I can understand the missing duty firearm (empty holster), but if someone has to do a head count every time they open the safe, that could get tedious...

SHOULD have discovered the theft?Isn't that nice?
If I stole your snow shovel out of your garage in July.....when do you think you'd notice?
Nothing like punishing the victim, hmmm?

... to file a police report within 72 hours after they discover or should have discovered the theft. Yikes... "should have" discovered. That's a nasty little bit right there. That can mean anything the prosecutor wants it to mean.

New England.... The day I graduated from Boston College, I was on a flight to Los Angeles to take a new job. It was as far away from Boston as I could get, and stay gainfully employed ;-)

Since when is New Haven a crime riddled city? I thought it was supposed to be a nice place. When did it change? You're supposed to put "/sarc" after a post like this.

"New Heinous" hasn't been livable since the early 1960s. It is, for the most part, a crime ridden hellhole of Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, etc. It basically lost its industry (aside from Yale and some hospitals) after WWII and never recovered.
Come to think of it, ALL urban areas in Connecticut are sh-tholes. It is similar to NJ in both its high median income, high levels of education, and the scariness of its urban centers.

Actually, the illegal population is there, but not as much of a problem as in Paterson, NJ, let alone Los Angeles. New Heinous’s crime problem initially stemmed from two domestic migrations: blacks from the south and Puerto Ricans from the commonwealth, after WWII. The first group still accounts for most of the violent crime in the city.

It is the Yale campus surrounded by a ghetto. Dems ran it into the ground. Outrageous taxes, crime, shootings...
But at least they have Yale, otherwise it would be another Bridgeport.

Central and southern Connecticut used to be an industrial powerhouse, and developed large mill towns as a result (New Heinous, Hartford, Bridgeport, etc.) that are now a decaying blight on the state. SW Connecticut is suburbs for NY. NW Connecticut (Litchfield County) is what you are thinking of.

NH is a nice place.....if you're a bullet. NH is a gorgeous place--but saddled with areas of decay and crime where public housing is, like in NYC. 20 years of a Democrat dictator have made that worse. Also there is the illegal alien island of Fair Haven. Then there are places like Morris Cove which is among the nicest shoreline communities in America.

Just the way they like it. I’m sorry for Connecticut.

Wow, talk about the “Haves”, and the “Have Nots”.
To: Clemenza
It’s a shame. Ohio’s steel mills are having the same fate.
