The official White House blog slammed Glenn Beck today, accusing the host of displaying a "disregard for the facts in an attempt to smear the Administration's efforts to win the Olympics for the United States."
Last night, the conservative firebrand attacked the President for lobbying hard to get the 2016 Olympics to come to Chicago.
Today, the White House released a point by point rebuttal of some of Beck's statements.

Beck’s program today was pretty much zeroed in on this aspect....and he just signed off, noting that tomorrow he’s going to demonstrate why Chicago should not be awarded the games.
Chicago power brokers have already bought up the property where the Olympic construction will take place. They will not go down quietly....
Chris Wallace was right, these guys are the biggest bunch of cry babies to ever occupy the White House.
It’s going to very embarrassing for Obama, Michelle, and Oprah if they can’t deliver the Olympics to Chicago. And it’s going to be even funnier if they do get it and when the Olympics come President Palin is welcoming them.
What was it that Chris Wallace called the bunch at the White House...oh yes, crybabies! I can’t believe a President or his administration “stoops” to take on the media, all they’ll end up doing is boosting the ratings of Beck, just like Rush’s ratings saw a surge when the White House demonized him.
Glenn is correct about the Olympic host cities--it usually ends up costing the taxpayers more to throw the Olympics than they see in a return. But I'm sure the local movers/shakers make some nice coin, and that's what's important, right? </sarc>
Personally, I think the GOP is making too much of his efforts to win the Olympics. Save your ammo for something important.
