Obamacare is in the midst of tanking, and all the democrat rats are scrambling around on the deck as the ship goes down. They are running out of time and getting desperate. The fact is, most people do NOT want this extreme government solution to cover a small fraction of Americans without insurance coverage. Most people now see it for what it is, a MASSIVE, unprecedented POWER GRAB over the average citizen's life and privacy, PLUS making us have the privilege of paying a whole lot more for a whole lot less.
Even the majority of doctors (Sept 15 Investors Business Daily survey) shows 71% of doctors DO NOT BELIEVE the liberals when they say Obamacare can cover 47 million more people, and cost less, and have a better quality of health care than people have now. They are wise not to believe such a massive, whopping LIE.
In the same survey, 65% of doctors come out and say they oppose HR3200 (Obamacare) and a huge 45% of doctors surveyed said they'd quit practicing medicine IF IT PASSES!
Even if 45% do not quit, there are NOT enough doctors to cover 47 million more people in the system without severe rationing of care, thus care will go down for many, while costs for everyone will increase. If 45% of current doctors leave practice, the results are going to be catastrophic.
Folks, the SS Obamacare is in the process of going down hard. Keep the pressure on, keep fighting. Make sure you pressure your congresspeople and let them know you'll actively support their replacement if they vote for government-run healthcare for everyone.
Use these bills when you mail in notes to your congresspeople. Spread them around where you go. Leave in a magazine you read in a waiting room. Leave with your tip if you can still afford to eat out. Put them on shelves in the grocery store for people to find. There are a whole slew of these bills focused on different themes and parts of this crap-fest, there's so much to be opposed to on so many different levels. Pick the ones that are most relevant to you. Maybe your congressperson has a bill they actually are on, like Pelosi, Reid, Baucus, Frank, Waxman, etc. Make sure you send them their bill to further tweak them and know you're going to make it your mission to do what yo ucan to get them out of office if they vote for government takeover of healthcare.
Here's the new bill, I like this one. It emphasizes the fact it's starting to cave on them, and that even the doctors don't believe them and we'll be in a world of hurt if they do pass it this passes and almost half the doctors quit practicing.

Don’t they prosecute people that make non-emergency 911 calls (like for takeout order mishaps)? If so, I would think prosecuting someone for calling an ambulance with just a runny nose would be the exact same thing. Misuse of emergency resources for frivolous reasons should bear a heavy penalty. And the EMT workers should be able to make that call too.
A rational person would think so. But that isn't how the system works. Trust me I know.

I just feel very defeated right now, all the odds are against us.
That is just what they want. Don't give up. People spilled blood for us. Do we ignore that and assume the fetal position under the coffee table? Not me.
