The Muslim call to prayer was heard on Capitol Hill Friday, Sept. 25 at the Day of Islamic Unity in Washington, D.C., but the day before, former Muslims announced that they do not feel safe announcing they have left the faith, even in the United States.
According to Nonie Darwish, author of Now They Call Me Infidel and one of the founding members of new organization Former Muslims United, there are thousands of apostate Muslims in hiding across the U.S. Darwish also said that the number of Muslims leaving Islam is increasing because there is a new generation of Muslim Americans who are revolting against their parents radical Islamist views.

Not a chance. The world would only become better because of them. I’d rather have them become atheists than remain muslims.
Indeed. Not many atheist suicide bombers out there blowing up innocents in the name of absolutely nothing.
Darwish’s books are excellent, I highly recommend listening to what she has to say. She survived the “Religion of Peace” & speaks the truth about it.
Careful. We don't want the presumption of the legitimacy of Sharia to creep in. Allow me to recommend a rephrasing that is more accurate:
"Leaving Islam carries the risk of being murdered by Muslims following their religious obligation to kill you."
From an American perspective, this is a matter of religious freedom. Every American should be free to make their own religious choice. Nonie Darwish shows great courage in speaking out for religious freedom (from Islam.)
Freedom of religion can be advanced on an international scale. It is as much a human right as anything else.
Hillary Clinton could really get under Hussein's skin by challenging Islam to accept religious freedom. I think that would be interesting!
