Do you need Obama coverage 24 hours a day? In several markets, Comcast cable is launching an all-Obama, On Demand channel. (In D.C., it's channel 963).
Leading up to Inauguration, the channel will offer a number of Obama-related programs, according to a release: "Barack Obamas most famous speeches to date, from his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in 2004 through his election night victory speech in Grant Park; Barack Obama biography; Michelle Obamas 2008 Democratic National Convention speech; a tour of the White House; and the history of Air Force One."
Dish Network launched an all-Obama channel during the campaign.

With Comcast in talks to buy up NBC, I figured this was a good thing to re post.
Comcast buying up NBC from GE will not change a thing.
From one far left company to another. Oh well. *sigh*

From one far left company to another. Oh well. *sigh*The race baiting might even get worse and Comcast has that stupid all-0bama channel.
I suppose they'll be in line for a bailout the minute they go into debt to buy the NBC properties.

I hope you don’t mind a FNC Obabachannel tangent, but I was quite disgusted to discover that FNC preempted Red Eye last night for that Chicago Olympic push presentation. BAH!!!

I talked to Verizon Fios. They are calling me back on Tuesday. For us to get everything we have now they would save us around 20.00 a month.I want a guarantee of price for 2 years and Comcast will charge us 150.00 for pulling out early. Also at the office I tried to cancel Comcast and they were going to charge us 400.00 for not finishing the contract.Check first.

Recently switched from Dish TV to FIOS. Got the complete package (phone, internet, TV) and am pleased. Price is about $20 less per month. TV reception is better and the internet is 10X faster than before. In addition I got a $75 dollar referral check good towards a future bill and a Compaq netbook for signing up for a 1 year contract. Overall, not a bad deal.

Just a radio gripe. Every radio news network, at almost every broadcast, including FOX which may be the worst of all, run clips of Obama telling somebody something even if its giving directions to the men’s room. That man’s voice is so irritating, I’s rather listen to Rev “Wright the Wrongs”.

Look, Obama’s election was a big event, especially to those who supported him. I cannot blame a company trying to make money off that excitement.
If this media was around in 1980, they would have done the same for Reagan.

Dish had a Zero channel - the only reason I know that is last year when I turned on the TV, it started at that channel - even though I have it always set on a very small “favorites’” list. Never before or since has a new channel popped up at startup like that. It was pure election propaganda.
