Michelle Obama said some of her best memories were “sitting on her father’s lap, cheering on Olga, Nadia, and Carl Lewis…..” Her speechwriter needs to do much better. Carl Lewis first competed in the Olympics in 1984 when Michelle was twenty years old. She was bouncing on her father’s lap? Nadia Comaneci competed in 1976, when Michelle was twelve, and Olga Korbut in 1972, when Michelle was eight years old.

Actually, I’m pretty proud of the IOC, an institution I have never ever respected before! Even the people who were dumb enough to give the Olympics to Communist China were too smart to be fooled by Barry!

I was thinking the same thing, but then that would require Obama to have class, which he seems severely lacking in...instead he had the typical narcissistic response of pouting. I wonder if he stomped his feet when no one was looking.
