Barack Obamas schools chief tries to incite dramatic reform that will last. Mr Duncan, the former chief of Chicagos schools, finds himself in an unprecedented position. No education secretary has ever had so much money to drive reform. Thanks largely to the federal stimulus, he has more than $10 billion, including $3.5 billion to turn around schools. More than $4 billion will go to states that pursue specific initiatives: final guidelines for applications will be issued this autumn, and states are scurrying to prepare. Mr Duncan calls the money a moon shotfor his department and for the country. With his $10 billion Mr Duncan says he wants to fundamentally change the business the department of education is in. Joe Williams of Democrats for Education Reform, an advocacy group, calls him a venture philanthropist.

I’m going to guess 80% goes to bureaucrats.
A partial list of new school classes to be offered under the Obamaloon administration:
1) Don’t like your country of origin? How to change your passport.
2) Covering up your lousy college grades?
3) Joke of a thesis? How to get it hidden.
4) Churlish, incompetent wife? How to get her a job in a hospital at thousands per month.
Mr Duncan says he wants to fundamentally change the business the department of education is in.
From the video’s I’ve seen lately, it appears the “change” is from education to indoctrination.....
1) Fathers must raise their children.
2) Parents must pay directly for their children's education.
Absent those two changes, money is just being thrown down a rat hole.
We have a single payer education system, and it's worse than the health care system; fear not the liberals will give you a single payer health care system too.
And much will go to brainwash the kids. If you are going to live in a controlled Nation one must be taught to say, yes master.
dont forget how to forge your draft card too
