Kudos to Jack Cashill, who had sniffed out Ayers' likely authorship of "Dreams" last year by comparing the writing style and content with that of Ayers' other works.

Now that Ayers has fessed up to Ms. Leary, I would doubt that the MSM would publicize this because the explosive implication would be that, contrary to how Obama described Ayers in last year's debates, Ayers was much more than "another professor in the neighborhood" to Obama.

Most of those critical of Cashill are also virulent after-Birthers. In other words, Obama kneepadders.

Telling isn’t it. Amazing how many odumbo kneepadders there are on FR. I just can’t understand how they are allowed to remain. Damn, I signed up for Kos and DU several times, even tried to be sublte and I was outed and gone within a day of two. Sometimes hours. Yet on here, it seems to me it’s becoming more and more a pro obongo board each day. I’m beginning to dread coming here and having to deal with all the obongo ass kissing.

Since it has now been “proven” that Ayers wrote the book (i.e., Cashill & now the recent biography mentioned by Freeper a fool in paradise), what could Ayers’ motives be?

1) To deliver an ideological warning — Barry is failing to do the job Ayers, Klonsky, and the others sent him to do. The Ayers quote, if real, was a warning to the puppet to start dancing, or else. (Freeper Jim Noble)

2) To deliver a personal warning — Ego & anger at being personally rejected or swindled — “prove it & I’ll split the royalties.” He did say that twice.

3) to deliver a BHO-camp trial balloon — Since it has been proven that Ayers wrote the book & this opinion is becoming a common assumption, the BHO camp may think BHO now has to address the issue.

How? Have Bill Ayers look for an opportunity to make the admission to some “unimportant” reporter in a casual conversation-— whereupon, depending how the public reacts, it can still be denied or admitted to.

BHO is vulnerable to blackmail on every possible level by entities domestic & foreign.

I sense bitterness, too. Jealousy of the One who gets the glory while Ayers sits muzzled on the dark edge of the spotlight.

Maybe the gag is coming loose.

LOL, thanks for the links! Might need some new toys here at 668, but we’ve been covering our fannies with recording devices for about 20 years now. And it’s paid off hugely, too.

4) To discredit some aspects of the book that show the 0ne in an unfavorable light or to deny some of the “facts” in it.

5) Ayers is putting out a book of his own

6) Cashill or his publisher or WND trolling for publicity

7) Someone yet unknown is writing a tell-all book and Ayers/Obama is part of it

8) Years of Hoffman’s Best has fried his noodles

Interesting... The photo gives good credence to the meeting... what was said can’t be proved of course and it does strike strange that just perchance he talked about the one thing she had greatly researched without even a prompt beyond knowing that she was a conservative blogger. He may of course know her by sight, since she has published numerous subjects about him. Blogspot.com is a pretty tight community (I have my small part in the nitch of 80’s new wave myself).

I believe she did have a conversation with him but it is just based on such things as actual gawfaws she admits like messing up “GW” with “GFW” and the realization we all read when taking someone by surprise on whether we assume whom we are talking to is friend or foe. We all size people up (quick judgment) as fast as we can when starting a conversation. He wanted to know where he stood and she immediately told him she was a conservative. Once he knew her stance, what to do with it was in his power. Perhaps he was able to connect all the way to her blog, but we know he was searching for where to go in direction.

We never remember word for word exactly in full perfect detail, but parts do stick out and I am pretty sure she is telling us as best she can. Whether he played her like a mouse or not we may never know, but it is telling that the subject does bounce around his head like a demon wanting to get out. Some will bomb to get a message out, so perhaps the truth will come out in a non destructive way soon.

It could have been a matter of exquisite happenstance. We have no idea what might have occurred in the hours and minutes just before their encounter. Some tipping point, some Obama snub that was eating him raw at that very moment. Having blurted it out, he reels it in with the taunt, “prove it.”

Perhaps, but that sort of scenario seems to me much more likely to happen in the movies than in real life. We just don't see people blurting out things like this, not something of this magnitude at least, especially not with someone who is as media savvy as i think Ayers is. Plus he doesn't strike me as the type who loses control, who blurts out stuff that he doesn't want to come out. Perhaps if this has happened at a bar....

But then maybe he is playing some sort of dangerous game here, maybe now that he helped get Obama in the White House he no longer cares about him and cares more about creating chaos, shaking things up even worse than they are now, creating more and more instability in America, more and more opportunity for things to spiral out of control so that people of his ilk will have more control of putting things back together they way they want them to be.

I don't know, but my intuition tells me that not much will come of it. That he'll just say he was pulling her leg and she fell for it.

“4) To discredit some aspects of the book that show the 0ne in an unfavorable light or to deny some of the “facts” in it”

the book has a disclosure that makes it legally “a work of fiction.” He has all the wiggle room he needs to admit, deny, change the facts, etc

“7) Someone yet unknown is writing a tell-all book and Ayers/Obama is part of it”

possibly, but that would speak to the “trial balloon” theory. Start getting the admission out there casually & see how the public reacts as a method to gauge how to proceed with a BHO confession.

Even in an admission he's a slimeball. I don't see any denials from Mr. Ayers hitting the web yet.

How about to flaunt it in the faces of those who denounced Barack Obama’s association with a communist traitor who engaged in domestic terrorism and a stateside insurgency in a time of war?

Don’t forget that McDermott got a slap on the wrist for distributing the illegally taped phone call between Newt Gingrich and his attornies (and that call contained no unethical behavior, they were looking at their LEGAL options).

Yes, if you get Ayers on record saying this, release the FACTS and let the news do its damage.
