Oops, no big deal but my last was intended as a response to “Dick Bachert” not “Rummyfan.”

McCain was a loser as soon as Loserman backed him.
Calvin Coolidge’s first inaugural address? He was only elected President once, and gave an inaugural address in March 1925 at the beginning of the new term. He was sworn in by his father, a justice of the peace, in Plymouth Notch, Vermont, when word came of Harding’s death in August 1923, but if he gave a speech on the occasion to his father it wasn’t recorded.
How about ‘Narcissus the First”?
LoneStar,
Thanks for the comment.
Ever since the TRIM ON-LINE service (which used as it’s prime vote metric the US Constitution) was suspended, I have been unable to find another site that even comes close.
Gradegov asserts that they simply record votes cast by citizens at the site, tabulate them and offer a letter score. While certainly subject to intentional skewing by organized campaigns to help or hurt certain ratings, my review of the votes seems to indicate that — from a Constitutional perspective — they’re pretty close to correct. Your guy may be one of those who has been “skewed.” We’ll never know.
In a perfect world, voters would do their own research on how their elected officials vote but that is very time-consuming and difficult, especially since those now allegedly leading those bodies have done all they can to conceal, obfuscate or sometimes completely withhold that data. That’s why Pelosi, Reid, et al LOVE unrecorded voice vote.
IF YOU OR ANYONE WHO SEES THIS HAS FOUND SUCH A SITE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
The whipped cream does not disguise the taste all that much.
Bump for later reading
