I am not getting it myself. I don’t gve a damn what they say. Under President Bush I might have but I don’t believe any member of the obama administration if they say that the sun shines in the daylight.

One of my sibs is a viral researcher and got it in the trials, and is so certain of its safety that spouse & all four offspring got it too. Awkward phrasing designed to conceal gender/identity.
I really don’t want to defend Sebelius on anything. But where does she say Americans “must” get the swine flu vaccination. Other than the headline of the AP story I don’t see the word “must” anywhere. Is there video of her saying we must get it? Is there another story out there other than ones copied from the AP story where she says that?
Forgive me if I’m missing it, but I’ve read this article three times and don’t see where Sibelius says “MUST”—
You show me Congress and the President's family getting their injections in person, at my house, with my family doctor filling the syringes and administering the injections, and then, I'll think about it.
I will not get it.
My kids will not get it.
If my Hubby wants it, I will beg him not to get the FluMist.
I'm reading in various places (sorry I can't provide references) that this shot should be avoided.

I’m wondering if any of the posters here actually read the article. The word “must” was used only in the AP’s bogus headline. Sebelius was never quoted in the article even remotely to that effect. Now I grant you that her credibility is greatly undermined by her claim of “unconditional” safety, which is nonsense since nothing is unconditionally safe. And certainly I give virtually no credibility to any Obama official. However, my own research leads me to believe that this vaccine is no more and no less safe than any other U.S. FDA-approved influenza vaccine.
Already, two people in Boulder County (Colorado) are known to have died from H1N1, the first of whom is a 12 year old boy who came to my house several times with his mother just days before he became ill and died quite quickly, even though he was in intensive care. Post-mortem testing showed he succumbed to H1N1.
Thus, based on my own person experience, I can tell you that H1N1 is not to be taken lightly, particularly for children.
They don't show naked butts on national TV. That's why you never see TOTUS without his TelePrompTer.

With Sebelius saying “you must”.....is the just the first step leading to mandatory inoculations. Pretty soon it will become “you will”. Another trigger for martial law?
I survived the bird flu scare. I can survive the swine flu scare. Now if pigs start flying, I’ll consider taking the shot.
She can keep her vaccine.
She can go first. Better yet, her kids.
How do they know it is “safe and secure”... have they tested it on a wide population? If it is so safe, why did Congress indemnify the manufactures?
I’m getting over the seasonal flu now. I’m in a high risk category and normally, I do get the seasonal vaccine. But I think I will wait until a few million others have been vaccinated before I get mine. Just so I can see how others react.
