I gave my college girlfriend what was supposed to be a pot-bellied pig. It was pot-bellied alright, but on a normal pig's body. The thing was huge.

Yes, they are intelligent. However, they are also a pecking-order species and very independent. It was like having a huge freaking cat in the house.

Also you can litter box train them. But the damn thing got so big we had to keep a huge metal trough filled with wood shavings in the living room. It sounded like an full grown man taking a leak in there in the middle of the night.

In the end, she couldn't keep it. So my grandfather sold it to a BBQ joint. Sad, but funny.

I hated that damn pig.

wait until the neighbors complain they might get the ‘pig’ flu from the little guys....it’s happening to a lady here in TN, she has one of the pot belly little porkers for a pet and a neighbor complained to the gov’t about it, she fears she might catch the pig flu from it.
