In the next 20 years, it's estimated that 30 million Chinese men won't be able to find wives. For mothers and fathers who visit the "People's Park" every weekend there's a lot more to it than just finding love for their kids. There's a tradition in China of the young looking after the old. The government hasn't paid pensions and provided health care for most Chinese. So many parents' social security is on the line.

People buy stuff from the Chinese because what they make is better, cheaper or more quickly available than can be got from elsewhere.
If Americans can’t compete in the Free Market then Americans need to get so they can compete. Whining about competition is not - or shouldn’t be - an American’s instinctive reaction.
Remove the onerous levels of tax and regulation. Remove the ludicrous minimum wage which prevents teenagers from entering the job market. Remove the huge regulatory burden that crushes new start-ups. And recognize that the Market does not owe America a living.
Adjust to that simple fact, and stop trying to criminalize people who have to operate in the real world.
I was just thinking that. Is homosexuality legal in China? It would seem it will soon be if it isn’t; it would cut down on abortions. Seems as though communist countries would totally embrace homosexuality for that very reason.....

I’m probably going to make myself wildly unpopular with this statement so I’d like to preface my words by saying that I am vehemently anti-abortion, anti-communist and a (reasonably) happily married man.
With that said, I don’t expect a shortage of women in China. Quite the opposite. I expect the rising living standards there to attract the most stunningly beautiful women in the world. This will only accelerate as the United States continues to flush itself down the toilet. There is a mercenary heart that beats in the breast of many women. They will go where the money is.

Whether the scale is from a personal sphere of influence or at a world wide pandemic that takes hundreds of millions of lives, through a graduating scale up through orders of magnitude, the “whole” will eventually self correct. There are finite limits and corrections that will take place to restore harmony, even though in a new “reality”. It largely a cultural thing among the masses. that even the Chinese Govt is trying to curb. But male children are valued highly, and daughters are considered to be a burden to be unloaded. Many Chinese have been known to drown baby girls, or, if they find out by madical scan that their children are girls, they abort them to avoid problems with the One child policy. China has made laws making this scanning for sex procedure illegal, but from what I’ve heard, they are only having lim,ited success. One would thimnk, under the circumstances, that Chinese families would realise that their daughters are fast becoming a valuable commodity. hey, don’t jump on my case...That’s how many in china think of their daughters...as commodities/liabilities.

One other consideration is the fact that every man Jack of those "excess" 30 million men is an only child. Whose parents will be less than thrilled at the thought of those casualties - and have the sympathy of the rest of the population of parents of only children.
One adjustment which could palliate the problem in the short run would be the marriage of the young women to older men. It would still need the mix of boys and girls to balance out starting “yesterday,” tho.

Read a book called “The Chinese Ultimatum” where the Chinese decided to use their cannon fodder population to go after Russia. Russia begged for U.S. help, but our ineffectual President voted “present”. Russia is big and empty and has a declining population, this book could very well play out in the next decades. We definitely have the President in office for this scenario to play out right now.
China could be one of the few nations to ever "pacify" Afghanistan -- by simply overrunning it, eliminating all the Afghan men, and taking the women as war-brides.

A raid of the type you describe could probably be launched successfully. They could do a lot of damage in Long Beach and LA. Then the CA Guard, by itself, would drive them back into the ocean. And, of course, the CA Guard wouldn’t be by itself.
You cannot launch and sustain a transoceanic invasion with one fleet of ships. You essentially need a massive continuous conveyor belt of ships. All hideously vulnerable to attack unless you control above and below the water, the air and space. None of which the Chinese will control in the foreseeable future.
We need a new term for stuff that even the tin foil types won’t buy into. Gold foil?
