It’s really the “I rolled over like a whipped pup” prize. Congratulations, President Beta-man.
“The Deadline for Nominations for the prize is February 1st. He was Sworn in 11 days earlier on January 20th. You think he hasn’t accomplished anything in 8 months, how about those first 11 days that justified the nomination in someones mind?”
It appears he was awarded the ‘peace prize’ for:
1) Not being GW Bush
2) An affirmative action president
3) The worldwide apology tour
4) Single handily reducing the Chicago crime rate by 90%
5) Denouncing Israel
6) Opening ‘dialogue’ with those level headed Mullahs of Iran
7) Picking UNC to win the NCAA tournament
8) His wonderful appearances on late night TV
9) His ‘We are the Ones we have been waiting for’ speech.
10) Because Robert Mugabe is next years choice
If they give the prize out now for good intentions, I think I should get one, too.

Nothing can justify it. The leftists at the Nobel committee can read the polls. They know this will give their Messiah a bump in popularity. American voters will swoon over someone “cool” and “popular”. I swear the political scene in this country is more and more like high school every day.
That was my first thought, also. Carter, Gore and now, Obama-all winners because they weren’t George W. Bush.
But of course, he’s had 100% success....at failing to accomplish anything he promised he would do.

Well I can’t fault the illegitimate president for this “honor” - he is truly a representative of what the Nobel has become, has lost from its original intent and how it is now used against any project undertaken by the United States. The same ugly status the United Nations has sunk to and they are even now allowed to be on our soil, using our resources at great expense to our nation - when it is routinely publicized we are “late with our annual dues”. Kick these fools out and send them home or to another nation who will put up with their pretense at royalty.
This morning The Nobel Prize was being dubbed the anti-Bush award - for the poufters in Sweden have again used it for their own political directives aimed at the U.S.A. Previous winners: Gore, Carter, Amin, what a joke this publicity stunt has become.
While the United States is in financial ruin from Protecting Peace in the middle east, before that in southeast Asia, and earlier in Europe, they are dubbed too powerful, too wealthy, too aggressive, by those who never miss a meal in their palatial mansions and castles, while we lose our young beautiful kids.
Let’s bring our military home to rest within our boundaries, put them to work building and rebuilding our infrastructure, creating self-sustaining industry and work (as was done post depression), monitoring our borders, removing those who do not belong here legally, who are perpetrating terrorist acts at huge expense by the American people of defense within our own borders. It is time to set up fair trade with other nations who can work with us instead of out of the side of their mouths, developing new methods of utilizing and replenishing our own gifts from the land we now own without destruction for future use. There is much work to be done in our own house now - not rebuilding every nation who has a nosebleed and expects us to mop it up.
Let us begin by creating rewarding lives for all Americans instead of donating them to other nations who celebrate our lost lives.
Let’s fill our universities and technical institutes with our young instead of wasting them on battlefields, never to realize their own American dreams..... let’s stop donating our youth to whatever branch of monstrous Islam is busily doing its insane work.
Let’s bring health back to the shores of the United States a let the rest of the nations who would relish our downfall, sour as they wither from our inattention to their needs.
Obama for an Emmy, Oscar, any other sissy award going - he qualifies for every one of them .... being such a great actor.
Isn’t it a bit (OK, absolutely GIGANTIC) of a coincidence that “He” (I am compelled to capitalize any reference to Obama since it’s clear that both the President (Michelle) and her assistant (Barrack) seem to feel that He is the second coming of Christ) has been delaying, putting off, lying about and removing himself from Afghanistan until this “award” (and I use that term loosely, now) was presented? Robert Gibbs “woke him up to tell him about it”…….Oh please, that award was bought and paid for…….by us!! This guy has got to go!

Talk a bunch of silly BS (Gore, Obama) but do nothing, get the Nobel Peace prize.
Perhaps they feel when Iran wipes Israel off the face of the earth as Iran has promised, the world will be a more peaceful place.
Or perhaps they believe when North Korea “re-unites” with the productive part of Korea, the world will be a more peaceful place.
Or perhaps they believe when Obama has created his civilian defense force equal in funding and military power as the US military, the world will be a more peaceful place.

No, his brother did ...they did award Jimmy Carter the prize and for what no one knows....then they awarded Yassah Arafat in 1994 with the prize...yeah a real good record. (sarc)
The Peace Prize has been a sign of ignominy since Arafat. Of course Obama got it.
I think it’s funny that Obama got the prize, when Clinton, “the first black president”, tried to lobby the socialist in Norway for the honors.
