Today would be a good day to send a ton of emails and swamp the phone lines with requests for JOBS...and policies that inspire JOB CREATION. ;-)

Some have pointed out that they may have skirted the rules to nominate him after the nomination deadline.

I’m not sure about it but I’m hearing that the nomination deadline is January 20th. If true, he was nominated before taking office or after the deadline.

No, according to the rules; he has to be nominated by Feb. 1st, 2009. He was sworn into office around noon on Jan 20th. So, he won the Nobel Peace Prize for his accomplishments made within the first 10.5 days in office

I think even the most staunch Democratic supporter has to feel slightly humiliated by this turn of events; BHO is probably looking in the mirror and having a "Sally Fields moment" (You really do love me....)

If “much of the world” is praising this empty award, then “much of the world” is as brain dead as the average American voter.

actually 10 days he was in power.

so from his coming into power to the nomination deadline bozo was in power for 10 days.

10 FRIGGIN DAYS and he gets this and some are trying to say this is not a joke.

I want to hear the people who voted for him explain what he did in those 10 days or even his life to get voted for this.

He already got a Grammy for his mo-fo reading of the book the terrorist wrote for him at Michelle's request.

Have we completely settled it?

The Nobel Peace Prize is a designation of great infamy now. Dictators and terrorists are the only recipients.

If Hitler was alive today, he would have beat Obama for this non-prize.

That needs to be shouted from the rooftops:

Was just wondering if it’s too late to get him into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame this year?

I imagine that every parasite, freeloader, traitor, and sexual degenerate is elated.

But on second thought, given thosehave won the prize in the past,Why should anyone be surprised?

If he has to be nominated by then, that doesn't mean they make their decision by then, does it? I'm just wondering how long they get to consider before making a decision.

I think it's quite strange that scientists get awards two decades after their discoveries and this joker gets one for . . . what?

Yep - and it further proves what I’ve been saying since 11/4/08: The people are under a strong delusion.

Didn’t Yasser Arafat and Jimmy Carter also win the Nobel Prize for Peace?
