Is this a another liberal rag or is it more middle of the road politically?

It's much more hard leftist than it used to be. I used to read the sports section, but with the web even that really isn't necessary any more.

Every hotel I’ve stayed in has given a free USAT every morning. I bet if they excluded those sales, their numbers would be near zero.

When you check in, look around for the little sign that tells you how to refuse the paper. It's probably not free (check your bill), but they aren't exactly up front with the information.
