Question for Nobel Appease Prize winner
WorldNetDaily ^ | October 11, 2009 | Joseph Farah

I have a question for Barack Obama, the Nobel Appease Prize winner, and the man who told us during last year's presidential campaign that troops needed to be redeployed from Iraq to the "real" front in the war on terrorism – Afghanistan.

In case your memory fails you, here's what he said in July 2008:

"In fact – as should have been apparent to President Bush and Sen. (John) McCain – the central front in the war on terror is not Iraq, and it never was. That's why the second goal of my new strategy will be taking the fight to al-Qaida in Afghanistan and Pakistan."

"It is unacceptable that almost seven years after nearly 3,000 Americans were killed on our soil, the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 are still at large. Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahari are recording messages to their followers and plotting more terror. The Taliban controls parts of Afghanistan. Al-Qaida has an expanding base in Pakistan that is probably no farther from their old Afghan sanctuary than a train ride from Washington to Philadelphia. If another attack on our homeland comes, it will likely come from the same region where 9/11 was planned. And yet today, we have five times more troops in Iraq than Afghanistan."

"… as president, I will make the fight against al-Qaida and the Taliban the top priority that it should be. This is a war that we have to win."

Yeah, and you’d think the No Bell guys would have tossed it out based on his then-hawkish rhetoric.

Here's a fun web page from the Nobel Peace Prize's Web page Click HERE to view Official Site.

Who may submit nominations?

Each year between 150 and 200 different nominations are received of candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize. The number has risen steadily as the Prize has become increasingly globalized. There may occasionally be several thousand nominators behind one and the same nominee.

Who, then, may nominate candidates for the Peace Prize?

According to the statutes of the Nobel Foundation, a nomination is considered valid if it is submitted by a person who falls within one of the following categories:

Members of national assemblies and governments, and members of the Inter-Parliamentary Union

Members of the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Hague and of the International Court of Justice at the Hague

Members of Institut de Droit International

University professors of history, political science, philosophy, law and theology, and university presidents and directors of peace research institutes and institutes of international affairs

Former Nobel Peace Prize Laureates and board members of institutions that have previously been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize

Present and past members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee

Former permanent advisers to the Norwegian Nobel Institute

QUESTION:

With total transparency, who actually nominated Zer0 before the deadline, Feb 1, 2009, 11 days after he became POTUS?

Who may submit nominations?

With these clowns nominating, it now all makes sense:

University professors -- 'Nuff said
directors of peace research institutes -- Doesn't Soros own a couple of those?
governments -- Anyone wanna bet our own gov made the nomination?
International Court of Justice at the Hague Another 'nuff said
Former Nobel Peace Prize Laureates -- at least we know it wasn't Arafat.

"In fact – as should have been apparent to President Bush ... the central front in the war on terror is not Iraq, and it never was."

WTH would some low life state senator from the criminal enterprise of Illinois know about a war he was not privy to information about? What was he...12 when the war started?

the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 are still at large. Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahari are recording messages to their followers and plotting more terror.

Damn! Here I thought the terrorists who attacked us were all killed, along with 3000 Americans, on that day of infamy.

"That's why the second goal of my new strategy will be taking the fight to al-Qaida in Afghanistan and Pakistan."

Well moron, that shows how much you know about al-Qaida. They are EVERYWHERE! They are an umbrella for many, many terrorists organizations. Idiot!
