Netanyahu Tackles ‘Extremist’ Muslim ‘Lies’ over Temple Mount

Muslim "extremists” are “spreading lies” by alleging that Israel is digging underneath the Temple Mount to cause the collapse of the mosques, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Cabinet Monday morning.

The Arab world, including the Palestinian Authority, has increasingly accused Israel of the same charges over the past several years, and many Muslim and Arab leaders have told the Arab world that the Temples never existed.

I think I read on FR long ago that the Mosques up there are indeed subsiding. They are being undercut - not by the Jooos but by water erosion.

Seems that the Muslims used poor building techniques, using a bulldozer when they should have used a backhoe.

Can’t remember the details - but the surface runoff from the Temple Mount is apparently very earthy after rain.

Sad to see some of the comments on this topic. The Temple Mount is a very holy place for Judaism. It has NO basis in truth as a Mohammedan Shrine. The story created by the followers of Mohammad are fanciful lies riding on the coat-tails of Jewish history. Nothing more than an attempt to give some semblance of legitimacy to Mohammad and his cult.

The Temple Mount belongs to Israel and the Jews.

If I were Bibi, on some dark rainy night I'd bulldoze all trace of islam on the Mount, & then deny that the mosque ever existed.

With fantasy lies being in vogue now - AGW, islam is a religion of peace, & receiving the Nobel Peace prize is a great honor, being good examples, Bibi should be able to to this w/o a hint of a grin.

From my reading on the Temple Mount it is believed that a number of years back the Arabs actually did their own excavations under the temple to try and remove any relics from the previous Temples - suffice to say that Arab engineering in Israel is not up to scratch and it is they who have undermined the mosque’s structure and are trying to blame it on the Israelis rather than take the wrap from the rest of the muslim world.

All the comments are good on this thread. No one is taking the side of the Muslim termites. In this case they literally are termites as they burrow deep to make new underground mosques and weaken the whole shebang same as termites destroy a house

They want to make the entire Temple Mount in a series of Mosques. Meanwhile the real owners pray like timid church mice down below at the Western Wall. Which is actually a retaining wall to hold up the Temple Mount and all the dirt and soil involved

I have been there and seen-—>>The Dome of the Crock dominates Jerusalem. It dominates the skyline. The Jews pray 150 feet below the Mosques. Went there too a few times. An Irish tourist asked me why I inserted a note/prayer into the Western Wall. I helped him do the same.

History has been a difficult subject for the Islamic world, especially when it comes to Jerusalem. Look way back in the Bible to Genesis and you will encounter Mount Moriah. It was there that Abraham obeyed G-d and placed his son Isaac on the altar as proof that he would do it. Where was Mohammed? Umm, not born yet. It was there that G-d started and gathered the dust to form Adam. Where was Mohammed? Umm, way before his time. It was there that the Jews built the first and second Temples. Where was Mohammed? About 1400 years off, still. It is there that the embarrassing Jewish artifacts are buried all through the soil, which may contain even the Ark of the Covenant itself. Where is Mohammed? Dead, last time I heard.

The problem with forcing reality on the Muslims is that to touch al Aqsa or to begin building the third Temple is to set off a worldwide intifada involving 1.5 billion angry Muslims. Yet, the Temple will be built. We live in interesting times.

But the Jooos made them dig up those artifacts to remove evidence that Solomon and Herod’s temples ever were there by CLAIMING that they were there. If only they hadn’t made that claim, the true believers wouldn’t have had to remove the evidence. So this is all the fault of the Joooos!
