Three men sentenced to life in prison in Dunbar rape case (text can be graphic)

WEST PALM BEACH - Citing the depravity of the gang rape and torture of a mother and her son, 12, in the Dunbar Village Apartments, Circuit Judge Krista Marx on Tuesday sentenced three of the four men involved to life in prison.

It was the only appropriate disposition, the judge said.

The standing-room-only crowd gasped in disbelief. As deputies led the men from the courtroom, a scuffle ensued between defendant Tommy Poindexter and an officer. A woman in the crowd began screaming, setting off more yelling.

“The case made international headlines for its brutality: The mother was raped and sodomized for hours at gunpoint, she and her son were forced to engage in a sex act, and both were beaten and doused with household chemicals in an attempt to cover up DNA evidence.”

Sounds familiar, right down to the “doused with household chemicals in an attempt to cover up DNA evidence”;

Yep, that fits.

We’re now approaching 4th and maybe 5th generation of fatherless households among the welfare crowd.

“These fellows should be shot with arrows until dead.”

Yes.

But maybe one arrow a day for each one. To be slowly removed
after an hour or so.

and no treatment for the sepsis that will likely ensue and kill them
in a very painful, slow, hideous way before the one arrow a day would.

I’ve had sepsis, probably from staph, in my left leg on a couple of
occurrences; thank G-d for antibiotics. But it’s so painful, at
least to just get up to visit the bathroom...it would be an effective
form of retribution for these animals.
They’d be blubbering, whimpering blobs calling for their mama
before they expire.

I actually can’t understand the concept of “excusing” this sort of behavior on any grounds. It is patently obvious to the most casual observer that they’re monsters and a danger to society. Why do the alleged “causes” matter? Put ‘em down like rabid dogs.

The article goes on about the poor life these individuals had lived and their problems growing up as if to say it isn’t their fault. Seems to me the statements about their problems and inability to get along in society makes the case for a life term. They can’t function in society so they must be put away for everyone’s safety. The only thing lacking was the “he was turning his life around and was going to be a doctor” defense.

They deserved death for the cruelty, much like the slime who held the woman captive in NYC a couple of years ago. It was a similar story there, with the guy raping, torturing, and mutilating her for a day. Then he set the apartment on fire when he left. She survived.

This Dunbar case made national headlines, and rightly so. But the Knoxville atrocity, every bit as bad, got almost zero coverage. It was not safe enough to report on I guess. In the FL case, if the victims there were white, that also would not have been reported so widely.

Both the press and the police want to say that everything’s going just fine in the black community, but these type of stories keep popping up and with today’s internet, it’s harder and harder to hush it up.

It reminded me of the Knox murders.

I get the whole kids doing a breaking and entering stunt for a little spending money or just kicks, but at what point was the humanity in these three scum supposed to emerge and show itself?

Where’s the human dignity of the kind of people who cheer these three scum?

The article goes on about the poor life these individuals had lived and their problems growing up as if to say it isn’t their fault.

These animal perps were raised in savage conditions so it's no surprise they behave like savges.

The fault lies with the Democrats who glorify single motherhood. Single motherhood used to be shameful, now it's saintly.

Anybody who has raised or is rasing a boy knows he needs an adult male authority figure by the age of 13 and that male should be the father, his father, not the government as father figure. In the absence of a father, a grandfather will do but as others have pointed out, the govenment has effectively removed the black father for several generations.

Pretty soon there will no longer be a word for "father" or "dad" in the black vernacular.

There really is no hope for the black community in these areas infested with feral fatherless children. The only solution is for working people to move far, far away from them.

All of the cities in America now have substantial populations who have never been part of any meaningful family unit and jave never even seen one. They have no living relative who has ever been married and not even an ancestor several generations back who has done so. They don't know their fathers and don't know anyone else who has a known father. Many of the mothers are crack heads or worse and the kids end up with whoever gets stuck with them. They live in "projects" rife with drugs, murder, rape, beatings and where every single dollar that comes into the place was from a taxpayer hand out or criminal activity.

They blame their plight on a racist and mean spirited society. The exact opposite is true. They were put in such a place by the "Great Society" which offered free money on the condition that you (1) don't live in a family with a breadwinner (2) you don't work and (3) you have as many kids as you can as fast as you can. Subsidizing the behavior creates the behavior and now millions of people in this country have no association with common decency.

But "feral animals" will at least exist according to the laws of nature. What we have here is more like animals produced by some gruesome lab experiment designed to make them as mean and vicious as possible.

But, Hey! the "compassionate" politicians who put them there live the good life and hold their position of power by promising the "neglected downtrodden" more and more of the same.

No, in this case let them sit in jail decade after decade and think about what they did to deserve it. Then when they finally and fully understand the scope of what they did, take them to the front gate with new clothes as if they were ready to leave and then slam the door on them and make them stay for the rest of their lives. (Repeat every few years)

I spent some time reading earlier reporting on this case. While I understand the need to give these victims a lot of privacy, I think more light could have been shed on their circumstances. The only clue I could find was one line, "The woman was a parishioner at Saint Ann's Church in West Palm Beach. " I went to the Church's website; they have Masses in Creole all weekend. This suggests she is Caribbean in origin, very possibly Haitian. If she came from Haiti, she has a poverty story that could shame any one of these "poor" perps.

Not sayin', just sayin' maybe.

Because even the vilest scum deserve representation, an honest prosecution, and a fair trial.

Subsidizing the behavior creates the behavior and now millions of people in this country have no association with common decency.

Here's my solution:

Expose the Democrats who endorse policies that sustain and perpetuate the feral fatherless children and their media appologists to the problem they create. Here's how:

1. Create a foundation to provide housing for feral fatherless children.

2. With the funds from the foundation, purchase the houses next door to the DNC committe chairs in each county.

3. Find feral fatherless 18 year olds and give them rent free housing in these nice neighborhoods next door to the DNC committee chairs. Encourage them to bring their friends and grilfriends.

There is a lot to like about your ideas. Why is it that social ‘experiments’ funded by us never seem to affect the very people that force them on working taxpayers. I would like to see ideas like this continue and expand, maybe.
Here is something I have been thinking about lately. How could we organize a foundation to purchase properties next to our elected officials, which could then be rented thru a Section 8 plan. Diversity is good for us,at least that is what I’ve been told ad nauseum.
