Sorry no link, just watched it on Tv. He really went after them...*somebody must be monitoring their braodcast and will be able to put a vid of it up, sometime today...but what a contrast from a few stories before, where Rattiman and guest "expert" were talking about how the "brave", "manly", thing to do, was to pull our troops out of Afghanistan, and not be "wimpy" and "weak" and "caowardly" and just let others force Obama to send more troops.
Maybe you should switch channels.
Rattigan is a lefty, but he’s an honorable lefty. He states his case, and will be rational, unlike most lefties. And he won’t take crap, he went after Bawney Fwank yesterday.
I just wonder how long Rattigan will last at MSNBC.
“Maybe you should switch channels.”
Sounds like the close minded stuff on the DU or some such place. I want to hear all sides so I can decide for myself. I’d rather not just regurgitate what I’m told.
Or, to put it another way, as Sun Tzu says, you have to know your enemy.
Yawn. MSNBS is just mad that people are talking about Rangel.
Rattigan used to be pretty good (and reasonably moderate to conservative in my opinion) when he was the host of “Fast Money” on CNBC. Since he got dumped (I thought for not holding to the Pro-Obama party-line on CNBC), I knew he was shifted to MSNBC... but since I, and about 320 million other Americans, can’t stand that channel, I’ve lost track.
Dylan Rattigan is a smarmy know-it-all. He is also an liberal elitist. He is a putz and a schmuck. He has NO honor.
Do you mean Ratigan?
I used to watch and enjoy Dylan Ratigan on Bloomberg.
Then, last summer, I watched him a couple of days on CNBC. He was ranting and raving when one of the huge bailout bills got voted down.
After a couple of days of watching most of the ‘hosts’ on CBNC ranting and raving, I turned the channel and have not been back to CNBC.
I just found out via Google that he stormed out of CBNC in April due to a contract dispute.
“Dylan Rattigan is a smarmy know-it-all. He is also an liberal elitist. He is a putz and a schmuck. He has NO honor.”
I haven’t seen that yet. I won’t dispute it, but I haven’t seen that. And I have not seen a single lib go after Bawney Fwank, or condemn Rangel.
“NOTHING honorable about being a lefty, nothing honorable about supporting communists.”
I couldn’t disagree more. Listen to Dennis Prager sometime. If you get clarity, you can deal with that. If a lib will state his position and try to defend it, he can be reasoned with, and that is honorable.
Blanket condemnation is sometimes applicable, but rarely so.
He heard the rumblings of FOX and Dobbs and is now positioning himself to move like Dobbs. He is smart enough to recognize a sinking ship.

Nothing wrong with that! I welcome any and all converts, so long as the truely convert.
I'm sure Al-Jazeera is your forte as well.

Here is a link to Last Nights NBC Story on Rangel which was the video that Dylan Rattigan showed part of before making his comments.

We should all watch a little bit of the “news” from the Party Propaganda Ministry. It gives you ammunition to know what issues they are pressing, and what “facts” are being presented to the sheep. I have converted a few Libs or Moderates, or at least exposed them to the blatant misinformation being spewed by NBC, ABC and CBS. If you don’t watch the opposition, you can’t respond.
You might find your more moderate/liberal neighbors more open to your positions if you keep up with “their” news sources. The other thing is, when you find something blatantly wrong on one of these newscasts, try to offer your point of view from a source that has not been demonized by the left. They won’t go to FoxNews.com to read anything. You are wasting your time sending a liberal links to a site they think is “right wing propaganda.” But if it is an AP story, source it through Yahoo or Google when you send them the link, or try to find a story on a local CBS affiliate somewhere. The key is to find a source they will view as more credible.
From the desk of cc2k: |
They stabbed the troops in the back, leak classified intelligence, gave aid and comfort to the enemy daily. They stole our troops honor in death.
They foisted an anti-american President upon us, who has racist friends like Wright, and terrorist friends like Ayers.
I will give anyone who supports traitors blanket condemnation, I will never forgive them their treachery.
Thanks for the backup, cc2k! :D
“I’m sure Al-Jazeera is your forte as well.”
And the Weekly Reader is probably yours.
“I will give anyone who supports traitors blanket condemnation, I will never forgive them their treachery.”
Fair enough. I support your right to take the stance that feels right to you. In many cases you are right. For example, while I want to know what the left is thinking, I can’t watch Keith Olbermann, just can’t do it. We all have our limits.
