Agreed. Long ago, I opined that while this is not a fight that is going to be won, I don’t think we should just forget about it. At the very least, during the next Presidential election, it should be demanded of all candidates.

And rightfully so. The framers of the Constitution didn’t put that part about citizenship in there to fill it out in the way a teenager has to reach a thousand words in a book report. They had valid reasons, and those reasons are just as valid today as they were back then.

Yeah....it is part of the problem....you can lead yourself all you want but without a strong leader to take the fight TO THEM we are rudderless. Where is our Barry Goldwater or Ronald Reagen? They can attack all they want, but if no one is around to answer the attack and instead bury their head out of fear, the attacks become FACTS to those who are not in the know.....THAT is why we have what we have today...a bunch of PANSIES trying to look important but useless as utters on a bull.

Looks like you bought the Third Party propaganda that the Republicans are worthless. I suggest you actually watch them on C-SPAN. Watch their "Special Order" speeches and their actions in committee. If you believe the crap the Democrat moles, the Third Party losers and the malcontents keep shoveling, you'll be woefully ignorant and walk around repeating nonsense like your post.

At least try to educate yourself, then you might actually recognize a leader when he/she shows up.

No...I didn't “buy” any propaganda....the freekin Republicans are WORTHLESS and have been for quite some time. By the looks of things they still haven't gotten their collective ASSES together....that isn't propaganda...that's FACT! You want to bury your head in the sand don't let me get in your way...I deal with reality, you can continue to deal with....PUSSIES.

A difficult case to prove. Sometimes one must choose their battles.

Or choose none at all like you and Steve, and his minions, except to be chief contrarians on a Conservative forum.

The difference is that we’ll be right...he’s an illegal.

And Kennedy's assignation was a conspiracy, covered up with the cooperation of the Supreme Court Justice, and that "Magic Bullet" idiot Specter.

Doesn’t the Constitution require the elected president to prove his eligibility? Obama can make this all go away by simply holding a press conference with an official actual birth certificate.

********************************************

Obama should have been vetted by the DNC prior to selecting him as their candidate or submitting his name to the 57 states. the 20th ammendment section 3 talks of the president qualifying (ie. NBC and 35+ yrs.) Since congress counts the votes and therefore chooses the president it is their job to verify qualifications. It is documented that V.P. Cheney DID NOT ask for or consider objections from the Senators as is constitutionally required.

In Mcain’s case, he was examined as a candidate with Congress ruling in his favor.

The Senate, not congress issued a sense of the Senate resolution, which means absolutely nothing as far as the Law, is concerned.

Interestingly enough they at first included Obama in that resolution, but later removed his name, I wonder why? Of course Steve, Parsy and Dirtyboy, will chime in and say they determined it would not be required in Obama's case because his citizenship was undisputed.

Of course the question remains as to why they thought it necessary in the beginning.

Like I said earlier, I'm neutral here,

Yada, yada, yada.

You don't have to do anything, so, why do you?

Not to be terribly nit picky, but the Senate is part of Congress. One house is the Senate, the other is the House of Representatives.

You really are a piece of work. I have never chimed in on this subject before, and my issue is with Orly, not the larger birther movement. But you are so cultlike in your thinking that anyone who criticizes anyone in your movement must be the enemy, even when that person has just been slapped by a judge for their incompetence.

I've had a civil conversation on this subject on this thread except with you, but what can I expect from someone who criticizes me without the common FR protocol of pinging me?

Yes, but I don't think the House took up this resolution, it was a Sense of the Senate.
