In what may be the ultimate job rating, 43 percent of voters say that they would vote to re-elect President Obama if the 2012 election were held today, down from 52 percent six months ago, from April 22-23, 2009.

Obama's job approval rating comes in at 49 percent this week. That's down just one percentage point from late September, but it marks a new low approval for the president -- and the first time the Fox News poll has measured his approval below 50 percent.

That means that 57% wouldn’t vote for him. Keep his numbers going down.

Not surprising. But did it specifically ask if they would vote for McCain?

I can’t believe 43% think BO is worthy. . . . Anything over 1% should be suspect. . . . . 1% would be family, the population of Kenya, Acorn, etc etc

I suppose O can spin it that the 9 point loss and decline to 43% was "less than expected", so signs are acually very positive and pointing to a surefire reelection.

that is because more people would rather interest themselves in the view, Oprah and soaps instead of actually finding out what the hell is going on in this country, their country, our country.

we’re being destroyed and they are more interested in crap like mentioned above and it makes me sick.

The bozo voters will go down as the dumbest voters in history. The amount of times I have mentioned events for them to say they never knew about that or who is ACORN or even not knowing about deaths and lack of leadership in iraq and Afghanistan

Beck said that the public are not stupid, well sorry but the majority of bozo voters and your average the view viewers are stupid and ignorant.

They might not know but I will not stop at every chance of letting them know . It has even got to the point where I speak outloud in a waiting room for others to hear what the hell is going on and how bozo is destroying this country

A chilling memory

I would assume Soros & Co will fund RINOS in the primaries in an attempt to split our side. I'm sure Baraq would love to face off against two opponents in the general. With his core die-hard support he could win again.

As near as I can recall, 42-43% is essentially a floor, reached by Clinton at his low points. It’s basically the percentage of the voting population that would vote for a rotten rutabaga, as long as it ran with a (D) after its name.

Essentially, this means that Obama has lost ALL of the independents and “leaners”, and retains only the blind party loyalty core.

Will Fox be running nightly updates on bammies falling popularity now that Gibbs has called them out. A public discussion of the truth of polls between the WH and Fox would be very entertaining to watch. I believe I lived through six straight years of MSM reporting on Bush’s popularity. So far they don’t seem to think those numbers (like wounded and killed in Iraq/Afghanistan) are too inportant anymore. Lets see more reporting on this - like every hour for the next 3 years.

LV = likely voters
Democrats n=369, ±5; Republicans n=333, ±5; Independents n=148, ±8 Obama Voters n=412, ±5

Minorities

Illegals

Welfare recipients

Union members

Govt employees

Dead people

Idiot liberals

It's a pretty strong base to build on, IMHO.

It’s incredible that that many would still vote for him.

And if you add in the Acorn margin, that means he’s win again.

Worked for Clinton. All O and the D’s need is a third party candidate who can siphon off enough conservatives or moderates who’d otherwise vote R.

The FOX News poll has always tracked to the left compared to Rasmussen and sometimes even Gallup. I think FOX management prefers it this way because if their poll tracked right or even center critics would discount it as skewed.

That's probably a fairly accurate assessment. And sickening, too to realize there is that high of a percentage of dimwits out there. No wonder the country barely functions.

At the peak of BC's Chinese donations and Lewinsky problems I recall telling a lib I know that Slick could screw a 12 YO girl on the WH lawn and he (my lib friend) would claim it was biased reporting, or claim she was asking for it anyway.

There is literally no moral limit to the actions of a Democrat that can and will be excused by this portion of the population. That's why people out there ought to be very concerned. This 43% is the same people that will look the other way when conservative dissenters are carted off for "re-education" and detention.

Ah but the MSM will not say if that means, 57% would not elect him. Any anyhow,if those 57% were not in the large electoral states, the faux Messiah could easily get re-elected. Buyer’s remorse for many Obama 2008 voters must occur to get this socialist pacifist Dem Congress and this naif in the WH out in 2010 and 2012.
