I watched it, but didn’t catch the porch thing. Wouldn’t have known there was anything to it anyway.

What a childish retard. He really feels proud to denigrate his upbringing that his mother gave him.

This idiot will live a life of abject intellectual poverty.

See Juan has a brain as is not not anti-American. They always do this to -people. We don’t see color often. I’ve seen Juan in the hot seat taking conservative points one by one and arguing with them. It becomes enough and thank goodness he has an objective look. When he continues a logical line, he is to be attacked by what?

The double-standard of racism is sickening and has gotten much much worse since 0bama’s election and inauguration.

Now the racist blacks feel invincible and are dropping any pretense of fairness or equality. I hope it stays among the ghetto dwellers and uber-leftist hate-mongers and doesn’t spread to society as a whole. I know plenty of black people that I’m proud to say are my friends and would be heartbroken if they became what that Ballentine guy is.

The fact that O’reilly didn’t immediately jump on him in a big way is simply another example of why I don’t watch his show. He’s part of the problem.

Washington times gave you a shoutout.

O'Reilly Guest To Juan Williams: 'Go Back To the Porch'

Photo of Mark Finkelstein.
The debate over Rush Limbaugh's NFL bid is roiling the racial landscape. This evening, after Juan Williams explained that Rush's "Barack the Magic Negro" parody was based on a column  by an African-American author, a black radio talk show host told Williams to "go back to the porch." [H/t NB readers Tracy B. and Ken T.]

*snip*

BALLANTINE: He made it a song and played it on his show.

WILLIAMS: So what? He was making fun of it.

BALLANTINE: You can go back to the porch, Juan. You can go back.  It's OK.

O'REILLY: All right guys: good debate, good-spirited debate.
Good-spirited?  Telling Juan to "go back to the porch"? I have to assume Bill didn't hear Ballantine's closing crack.

Juan also defended Clarence Thomas agaisnt Anita Hill's smears, at which point four women at the Washington Post filed bogus sexual harassment claims against him. This is what liberals do.

For future attacks by racist black radio hosts or preachers, just start singing Carry Me Back to Old Virginny

Carry Me Back to Ole Virginny
Carry me back to old Virginny,
There’s where the cotton and the corn and tatoes grow,
There’s where the birds warble sweet in the springtime,
There’s where the old darke’ys heart am long’d to go,
There’s where I labored so hard for old massa,
Day after day in the field of yellow corn,
No place on earth do I love more sincerely
Than old Virginny, the state where I was born.

CHORUS

Carry me back to old Virginny,
There’s where the cotton and the corn and tatoes grow,
There’s where the birds warble sweet in the springtime,
There’s where this old darkey’s heart am long’d to go.

Carry me back to old Virginny,
There let me live ‘till I wither and decay,
Long by the old Dismal Swamp have I wandered,
There’s where this old darke’ys life will pass away.
Massa and missis have long gone before me,
Soon we will meet on that bright and golden shore,
There we’ll be happy and free from all sorrow,
There’s where we’ll meet and we’ll never part no more.

I've been called worse and each and every time it was by a liberal who was in disapproval of my political leanings. They just hate it when we 'house negros' leave the plantation known as the democRATic party.

Imagine, after an entire segment of this guy trying to tell us Rush is too racially divisive, Ballentine proves he is the racially divisive one.

Funny how it so often seems to work out that way.

He snuck it in right before the satellite feed cut - Juan heard it, but Bill was already starting to talk. I doubt BOR heard it.

I’m sure he’s aware of it now, and challenges Ballentine to return for an apology. Probably won’t happen. He’s proud of his racism.

The sad thing about it is:

... Well, admittedly, I have no clue who or what Ballantine is.....

But, of the three: B-0'R, Ballantine and Williams.....
I like Williams the best... And HE is a dumbass liberal who, at best, has an occasional attack of sanity.

I could tell something was bad because Juan seemed to flinch at the comment.

There was a thread about it. I believe the reference to the porch was calling Juan a "House negro".

Wow, Juan Williams told to get back on the porch!

Ballentine was stupid to both do it and twit about it. All he achieved was to look like an asshole.

The term “porch monkey” as slang for lazy blacks dates to the time of slavery.

O’Reilly did not defend Juan Williams just as he did not defend Michelle Malkin when Geraldo was talking about slapping her.

>>>You can go back to the porch, Juan. You can go back.

Not being an O’reilly viewer I didn’t see this. But now seeing the transcript this may not be racial at all.

I’m open to correction on this but I’ve never seen or heard of porches being racial insults. All I can think of is the insult “if you can’t run with the big dogs, stay on the porch”. Now if he’d said “go back to the big house” or “go back to the slave shack” that would be unquestionably racial.

A nasty insult to be sure but the insult seems to be calling Juan a lightweight, unfit to argue with the speaker. Not racially but just out of his league.

In a contrary opinion, I believe it was a reference to “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”, not to “porch monkey”. It’s all guesswork unless the guy explains himself.

OK...here is the deal on the comment. It is a racial slur. It refers to the term "porch monkey." It dates back to slavery when some slaves would sit on the porch rather than work. Here in the south...growing up...it was common for the blacks in our community to not have AC in their homes because they couldn't afford it...either the AC...the power or both (more so than say whites)...and in the summer you would drive around and see them sitting on the porches. It was a fairly common derogatory phrase used by some of the older people I knew to refer to blacks. They were older so the comment came from those earlier days...not just because they were hot and sitting on the porch.

So...its a racial slur...especially to blacks. The origins though come from a slur that was directed towards blacks (by whites and some blacks) that were lazy and would sit on the porch instead of work.

Ya’ll ever hear the term “porch monkey?” He was basically calling Williams a Tom who belonged on the porch rocking with the slackers.

That was some very nasty shiite. I’m no fan of Juan Williams but I personally hopes he takes a poke at that fat bass turd if he ever meets him on the street.

This was an amazing thing to see- and apparently O’Reilly totally missed the “real black people are offended by Rush Limbaugh” and “go back to the porch, Juan” comments...he congratulated them on a good debate.

Meanwhile- don’t forget the twitter posts from Ballantine later:

“ok howd i do u hear me tell jaun back to the porch lmao”

“is about to watch me on oreily it starts in 60 sec my popcorn is so buttery lol”

“oh make sure u hear my last shot a jaun williams it was a killer if i say so myself lol”

“just recorded bill oreliy man it was heated they may not invite me back lol iam so the truth lol”
