Sen. Lindsey Graham, a longtime friend and ally of Sen. John McCain, is now going a step further, Democrats say, and actually becoming the new McCain.
Senior members of the majority party say the South Carolina Republican has displaced his Arizona mentor as the dealmaker on two big agenda items of the Obama administration: climate change and immigration.
As McCain, on the heels of his presidential election defeat, has distanced himself from Democrats, Graham has moved in to fill the vacuum.

Of course that fifty-five year old bachelor doesn’t have a daughter, or any other progeny for that matter.
After all, to produce offspring in the normal way first requires intercourse with a woman.
I am so @#%!! burned up that Little Lord Flimsey Tinkerbelle for whom I did not vote, is becoming the face of conservative gun-friendly Bible-believing South Carolina.
Learn more about our other senator, Jim DeMint. What a great contrast to Light Loafers Lindsey.

If the “Graham as new McCain” meme sticks, then defeating McCain can be also a vote against Graham who is not up for election for a number of years. He might think twice if McCain loses.

I was hoping against hope that by using examples like McCain, Graham (and throw in Snowe) it is not an indication of what the party has become. Mikey needs to welcome conservatives and conservative values back to the party with open arms - and start by a redux of a national/local contest plan like “Contract With America” - and DUMP the RINOs.

That’s what I’ve been saying on and offline for months now. Sadly, far too many conservatives simply won’t do it. If they don’t start pulling their weight by next year’s primaries, we be stuck voting for the same old RINOs in next year’s general election. It’s do or die time now, people. Let’s get it done.

Why support a third party? Regain control over the GOP and support conservative candidates. We have six months until the 2010 primaries and two and a half years til the Republican presidential primaries. It’s time to get busy.

Lindsey Graham detests the voters of South Carolina. He was just recently at Furman University snippily calling the angry people at a townhall "white people"--and white people in South Carolina shouldn't expect representation from McCain's arrogant little prick.
He's got an enormous war chest from out-of-state lobbyists who want open borders and fuel taxes. His other big source of funds are trial lawyers. He's a thieving ambulance chaser, himself. He's everything the left could love.
He's untouchable for five years.
If you want to annoy Lindsey, do everything you can to knock McVain out of the primaries.

He's untouchable for five years. I know, but I was really amazed that there was no serious challenger in 2008 after all his amnesty supporting and general RINO behavior. IIRC, the Sec. of State was expected to be a strong challenger, but ended up with some ethical problems and no good challenger ever emerged.
But a big war chest shouldn't keep a flaming RINO in office in SC. Something odd about that

Well, it’s not like the SCGOP was any kind of help. But a no-name, non-funded opponent got 30% of the primary vote. Think about that—someone unknown and broke got a third of the republicans who voted in the primaries.

If McCain is re-elected next November, we are truly screwed.
He will return to his liberal ways, and then we will have McCain+Graham+Democrats+Obama for a MINIMUM of two years. And believe me, the ol' bastard has a tendency to hold grudges.
