If the “Graham as new McCain” meme sticks, then defeating McCain can be also a vote against Graham who is not up for election for a number of years. He might think twice if McCain loses.

I was hoping against hope that by using examples like McCain, Graham (and throw in Snowe) it is not an indication of what the party has become. Mikey needs to welcome conservatives and conservative values back to the party with open arms - and start by a redux of a national/local contest plan like “Contract With America” - and DUMP the RINOs.

That’s what I’ve been saying on and offline for months now. Sadly, far too many conservatives simply won’t do it. Some, the entrenched GOP in my state is not interested in winning elections or advancing conservatism. They are more interested in staying entrenched. The keys are the RTC’s and the regional committees.
