Obama is a communist.

For him - this is a grim anniversary.

Well, from a German taxpayer’s perspective it will save us a lot of money if Obama does not come to Berlin. His last little visit was rather expensive, especially considering that he simply used us as a campaign location to show off at home. I honestly think he should have paid us a fee for the venue and security.
I also believe that aside from it being unfortunate that the President of the United States refuses to attend the anniversary celebrations (as far as I remember his predecessors attended the previous anniversary celebrations) I do not believe that our Chancellor on a personal level will really miss Obama.

US President Barack Obama has shelved his plans to attend festivities marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

They're probably replacing the worn out engines on AF-1 that week.

Mark it down - BHO visiting Berlin on August, 13 2011. The 50th “anniversary” of the beginning of construction on the Berlin Wall.

Just as Barry did on the recent marking of 60 years of communist China, I’m sure he’ll celebrate.

He’s waiting to attend the anniversary celebration of the day the USSR put the wall up.

GOOD...he does NOT represent FREEDOM...and should not attend.

Exactly!
He’d really be out of place there as would any apology that he’d likely make while attending.

I’d love to see George Bush go just as an interested citizen. It’t even be better if he was allowed to speak while there. Oh wow, that’d ruffle some feathers.

I guess he’s sorta disappointed it had to come down in the first place, since all his heroes lived on the other side.

Akin to returning Churchill's bust.

More proof he is not of the parentage or soil of this country.
