Just change “hope” to “nope” (or “dope”?).

In her speech, she didn't give credit to Lee Atwater, a long-dead Republican, for the comment she was about to make to the audience at Washington National Cathedral.

But once video of that HS commencement speech is made public, and it makes her look really bad... now she's trying say it was a joke gone wrong, and to blame a dead Republican for the words that came out of her mouth.

Needless to say, that dead Republican cannot defend himself against her claims.

I'm seeing a trend... Say something really offensive, and then blame it on a conservative (Rush, Lee Atwater); preferably a dead one who isn't around to call you a liar and demand a retraction and apology.

It's not working, Mz. Dunn. They are your words; you own them. Mao is your favorite philosopher.

My design, I wish, lol. My skills are nil in this area!

I found it on NR today, posted, and ran out to do errands.

Very bad form...above is the attribution I should have posted. Sorry.

Not only does this dunce plainly say she admires Mao, but then sullies the name of a brilliant, dead GOP strategist in the process by claiming that he too “admired” Mao. We have nothing but pure scum running this nation now. It is to weep.

"I think Ms. Dunn totally confused Lee Atwater’s hero Sun Tzu (The Art of War) with Mao.

You're probably right.

Atwater/Sun Tzu

Can't expect some stupid commie to not confuse a brilliant military tactician with a commie thug though. Next she'll say "what I meant to say was that one of my favorite political philosphers was Sun Tzu! That's really, really what I meant! They all look alike to me anyway!"

You're probably right. The major reason nobody learns or care about Mao is because he (in their eyes) ONLY killed 70 million Chinese... If he had killed the same number of a different group I'm sure her disgusting statement would get more attention. But nobody cares that 70 million Chinese died.

So what she’s really saying is that Lee Atwater is one of her favorite philosophers...

Lee Atwater is one of MY favorite political philosphers.

But I think the late Mr Atwater had no use for Mao but probably loved Sun Tzu.

Extremely important information. The clinical presentations do, however, appear to differ from that seen with the maoist. She seems to merely have a nervous habit. It would be interesting to have more video of Anita Dunn, but I doubt I could force myself to watch it. One can actually begin to see some merit in the prosecution's case in the Salem Witch trials.

Doesn't siebelius look like the death witch in Narnia?

She was at the 'coming out' party for Obama held at Ayer's house. That makes her a marxist in my book. Don't need any more evidence. But it is funny how she is trying to throw her Mao under the bus.

Again, I’m by no means anywhere near an expert on this, but I do think some people who develop these movements as a side effect of certain medications can manifest them mildly, or the residual involuntary movements (that remain after most of the drug reaction resolves) may be mild.

While, as I said, I would not wish this condition on anyone, it takes nothing away from her MIND. She clearly idolizes Mao and that is sick.

Yes. Siebelius does look like the witch in Narnia. And Dunn’s appearance reminds me of some character in the Wild Thornberries or Rugrats -— a French lady?

Based on her tongue movements I’m thinking Anita must have chemo receptors on it, possibly used to detect animal body odor or to sense the presence of nearby warm-blooded mammals.

Anita, are you saying that your worldview is not worth putting on public display, declared by you openly and honestly without ambiguity?

You’re telling us you have no confidence in your ability to choose a worthwhile ideology.

This is GREAT! We needed an opening.

This provides it.

What an idiot, but good for our side. I am glad she said this, and tried to give context in such a lame way. This sounds like a 16 year old responding to something, trying to laugh it off. BAD MOVE on her part. It is the crack in the wall we needed to get in order to start peeling off more parts of the concrete and eventually bring it crashing down.

I am the broken record here on FR 24/7 these days, but she clearly contextualized Mao for the students she publicly spoke before, with "In 1947" as indicative of his success. (Community organizing?) She only made a parallel context to Mother Teresa who wrote a letter to someone that they find their own Calcutta and fight their own battle.

These are two different things.

Mao's 1947 that Anita Dunn brought up was in essence the major shift of internal Chinese Communist Party purges and extreme terror against the population and all kinds of assassinations of those even on Mao's side against the Nationalists who were "not Communist enough". This was handled with coup d' graces either whle people slept, or firing squads or hangings. This is what she clearly referred to in her PRE-WRITTEN SPEECH SHE READ FROM, and it was not joke, this "In 1947" no slip of the tongue, and not out of context. She contextualized Mao and why he is her favorite, clearly, over the way he seized total power in view of all factors against him in 1947, which was through the Chairman's "1947-48 Campaign" (purges). This is what the 糞女 was referring to and referencing, no doubt about it.

I need an enterprising Freeper to kindly to do a graphic for us. It could be of black and white photo of Chinese Communists in Red Army uniforms firing on people lined up on a wall--I believe such photos exist...with the tag line: "Community Organizing": China, 1947-Style

Below could be the Anita Dunn quote in small italics with her title.
