Mafioso, Goon Squad, Communist, Nazi, Jihadi, Democrat politics as usual--whatever you want to call the thuggish tactics of the Obama administration, the very public threats they are making to the news media to not follow the lead of Fox News in questioning Obama's policies and personnel is a direct threat to the freedoms guaranteed in the First Amendment.
This morning on the Sunday talk shows, speaking on behalf of President Barack Obama, senior Obama advisers David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel carried on the war initiated by White House communictions director Anita Dunn last week on CNN.
Axelrod appeared on ABC News' This Week, telling George Stephanopoulos:
"A lot of their news programming, it's really not news, it's pushing a point of view. And the bigger thing is that other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way, and we’re not going to treat them that way."
Chief of Staff Emanuel told John King on CNN's State of the Union that the president himself does not view Fox as a legitimate news network:
...The way the President looks at it, we look at it, it's not a news organization so much as it has a perspective. And that's a different take. And more importantly, is not have the CNNs and the others in the world basically be led and following Fox, as if that, what they’re trying to do is a legitimate news organization..."
Emanuel then went on to deny that the White House is focused on Fox to the detriment of other issues facing Obama:
"I mean the concentration of the White House isn’t about what Fox is doing. It’s a concentration about what does it take to make sure the economy’s moving, creating jobs, helping the economy grow, making sure that we responsibly withdraw from Iraq, making sure the decisions we make on Afghanistan..."
But to accomplish his goals, Obama and his Chicago goons have decided they need to clear the field, in this case Fox News, like they have done throughout their ascendency to power.
Once again, Obama froze out Fox News' Sunday program today with Emanuel appearing on CBS' Face the Nation and CNN, Axelrod on ABC and close aide Valerie Jarrett fielding softballs from David Gregory on NBC's Meet the Press. Former Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe appeared on Fox, saying he was briefed by the White House beforehand.
The message is clear: Obey Obama or lose access, get attacked and be culled from the herd. Unspoken, but well understood, is that the Obama administration has the regulatory and investigatory power to destroy those in the news media who get in their way.

The MSM have no problem praising Obama if they consider Obama their puppet. However, if they think that Obama thinks they are his puppets, it may turn around on him.
Well Fox News is a legitimate news organization which is not even debatable ... unlike the subject of whether Obama is a legitimate President.

Pardon my language but we can’t let them distract us from their attempts to impose obamacare and cap and tax. They are hitting us on all sides and we need to stay focused. If Fox were to cave, then we have a problem.

I don’t know. Obama started treating ALL of the Washington Press Corps with contempt the moment he got into the White House, and in return they have been licking his toes.
He treats them like dogs, and then snaps his fingers when he wants them for another photo op or prime time speech.

ya know, a long time ago the the most trusted and watched news reporter was George Putnam, when politicians refused to go on his show, he would put an empty chair with the persons name on it and Have The Interview anyway. It was classic and funny, FOX needs to the same thing, but EVERYDAY, ask a question and play back a funny sound bite from said coward.

'The 0ne' can make things tough for any news outlet. Deny access like he's doing to Fox, maybe get back at them "legislatively", or have the diversity czar yank some licenses. Maybe these tactics won't stand up to court scrutiny, but what private entity has the resources to stand up to the fed in a court battle. Much easier to fold and cut your losses.
Fox by getting out in front of all this kind of protected themselves. Assuming the Bamster tries any intimidation on them, someone like Beck or Hannity can expose it and be taken seriously. The drive-byes by carrying water for this administration look like a pack of fools if they start complaining at this late date. Just my take.
What's wrong with that? It is the 'herd' that leaves out truth and fact. This is what the Communists in the Obama administration want.....Obama's way or the highway....all presidents are criticized, few as badly as Bush....however, Mr. Obama is a fraud in all things American so Mr's. Axelrod and Emanuel could stop "white coat" lies for starters...Obama comes off looking like, like, well the jerk he is.

I simply don’t get what the press is getting out of all their BO adulation. Yes, I believe that some of them were truly die-hard libs but I figured most of them were creatures of opportunity. What does licking BO’s toes get them? The Dem Congress is at less than a 20% approval and BO’s approval is on a downward spiral. And it’s not like they’er getting invited to all the cool parties and told how wonderful they are. BO and the WH look upon them with contempt and disdain. They’re told to sit down and only speak what they’re told when they’re told to. Surely some of these so-called journalists chafe at that? Surely some of them thought being a journalist meant questioning bs? I could see them selling their souls if their ratings were going up but ratings are in the toilet. Even my sister, who thought Brian Williams was the son of her personal savior, Tom Brokaw, has had her eyes opened in the last few months. Why is practically all the media still trying to do BO’s bidding? I just don’t get it.....
Well at least we know there’s one battle that this administration is serious about waging. Afghanistan? Iraq? Haha, mere trifles that can wait. FoxNews is the real danger.

I think it is a duality. They are as evil and malevolent as you say they are, and then they undertake these vile acts and destruction of our country as if they were high school children or much younger who need to be ‘liked’ and need to be ‘big man on campus’. They form cliques and ostracize others just like pre-adolescents. They have the behavior of children who have not matured enough to consider others or that others may not automatically have the same points of view. They call people names (this is the younger side of them) and they are spoiled brats whom no one wants to play with unless it is to garner favor and power to become a member of the bullying clique. Ah yes, that is their dominate behavior - cowardly bullies. When reading of fascist takeovers in other countries - it always seemed to have been orchestrated by evil people who were smarter, more devious of course, but with FAR MORE POISE. By that I mean, they could at least fake statemenlike behavior, they could seem respectable, for a time.
Now I don’t want to loose my country to ANYONE, but I never thought people who are so petty, silly, awkward, and yes...immature...COULD represent the threat they do. I shake my head just writing this - I never imagined that we had to ‘watch out for clowns’ who will stumble into office, bumble through conferences, prat fall on the national stage etc When the election approached - I never believed people would nominate or elect BOZO THE CLOWN. I expected a man THAT evil to be more like THE JOKER in Batman. That’s the duality - one moment I am open mouthed at their childish behavior and the next - I recoil in horror.
The question is not are we ready. The question is are they?

Actually, I think this can help Fox. They are the only major news org that the administration has singled out for their hatred and ostracism. That must mean Fox is doing something really important that the public ought to take notice of. Besides, what good does it do to have Obama’s admin people on, anyway? They just spin their standard lies and refuse to answer pointed questions. Better to keep pounding on them and report that they once again refused to appear on Fox. What is the little ballerina afraid of?
The Vetting of Barack Obama was not allowed...by the Media and then by the maniacal Obama Cult that stopped all discussion. The total evisceration of Sarah Palin took center stage with the Obama Cult leading the charge. Once elected, no one is allowed to question his policy's nor 'the beyond questionable' people Obama has gathered around him.

But what else are they to do? Admit that they were wrong? Admit that Communists aren’t all that nice after all? Admit that Bush and Cheney were right?

The other shoe in all of this is the apparently unanimous opinion in the Obama administration—including, most alarmingly, his USSC appointee Sotomayor—that “corporations don’t have First Amendment rights.”.
This is a terrifying point of view because if it becomes accepted legal precedent you know very well that the federal government will find a way to define all speech it doesn’t like as “corporate,” and the First Amendment will be effectively abrogated.

Little tip: “loose” rhymes with “goose” as in “loose as a goose” or “the goose is loose” and is also spelled with the same ending. Remember this and if you can spell “goose” you’ll be able to spell “loose” when you need it.
