I just wanted to share some of what I see as hypocrisy from the Obama White House concerning their treatment of Fox News as compared to their standards for Supreme Court Justices:
Rahm Emanuel said of Fox News, "It's not a news organization so much as it has a perspective."
Well, I'd like to point out that Justice Sonya Sotomayor was openly celebrated by the White House for bringing a "latina" perspective to the bench. They considered her biased approach as an asset on the bench of the Court.
So even if we take the White House assumption as truth on a stone tablet concerning Fox News' bias, we can't ignore that this White House has in the past celebrated different "perspectives". They are so enamored with diverse "perspectives" that they want the Supreme Court stocked with Justices that come to the bench with bias.
Maybe the White House doesn't have a problem with "perspective" and Fox News. I'm sure if Fox News held Justice Sotomayor's "perspective" on the world the White House would be on the network every day. Because, clearly, Fox News doesn't have the "perspective" the White House considers legitimate.
“her biased approach”
Yep! So much for equality under the law.
If your not black or hispanic, you had better wake up.
Didn’t someone in the Media make a comment about NOT challenging the Media?
All the White House is doing is causing people to check out FoxNews to see what the WH problem is.
Just one more way that sheeple get educated away from the Narcissist in Chief.
” Rahm Emanuel said of Fox News, “It’s not a news organization so much as it has a perspective.””
That’s your upside-down world, Rahm, and I know it suits your control-freak purposes.
However, Fox is in truth the only news channel left. It reports what happens without censoring it and leasving unwanted reports on the cutting room floor, as do CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and MSNBC, your partners is oppressive control.
Fox News is a debate format. At least two sides of every issue are presented.
Here's what Rahm really means: "It's not a news organization so much as it has a perspective presented that I don't like."
BINGO!!!
Oooops! Now, that was a zinger!
