But if Deeds wins, it will be ALL about Obama.

If Deeds wins, it will be all about ACORN and their unnamed co-conspirators. Be interesting to see how many dead (and those who never registered themselves) vote in Roanoke.

“Help President Obama. Elect Deeds.” It was amusing and I suppose I should have scanned it and posted it here for public pillorying before I shredded it and composted it with the other horse manure.
+++++++++++++

LOL
**********************

Additionally, was this before or after McDonnell blathered about man-made global warming and flirted with cap-and-trade? That completely ended my McDonnell support and was yet another step out of the GOP’s door for me. What is with the GOP?
+++++++++++++

We know the dim bulbs don’t hear us...but is the GOP still not listening? They’re going to get a rude awakening in PA, NY and other places as Conservatives start winning elections.

We can’t afford to wait for the GOP to figure itself out. The time to act is now; the time to wait has passed.

Your comments on Global Warming seem ever-so-close to the marching order DEMs gave out over the weekend to try to sell Republicans that McD is all for Global Warming and Cap and Trade. My cousin has infiltrated the VA democratic party and is now on all the right lists.

Their strategy for the next two weeks is the same one Obama used - try to beat down the turnout by showing the race isn’t even close, and keeping conservatives away by painting McDonnell as not a “real” conservative.

I believe you joining FR comes awful close to the timing of Justice setting up it’s opposition bloggers. Is that you Eric? One of your lackeys?

Virginians... go vote if for no other reason than to give Obama a symbolic smack in the keyster.

“I think [global warming] is a real concern and we have to find ways to reduce CO2 emissions. We need to promote new industries like carbon sequestration…to try to reduce the amount of CO2 going into the air."

"I’m going to accept the science that’s out there and the science says that we need to do everything that we can to reduce CO2 emissions to the atmosphere and that will help." Bob McDonnell, 10/17/2009

1. "The science" is not there.
2. Carbon sequestration via tax policy or government injection (which McDonnell also supports) is part and parcel of the suite of anti-scientific and regulatory nonsense peddled by elements in that I want nothing to do with.
3. Why is he pandering to the extreme left?

See post 26. I first read McDonnell’s absurd comments over on Bearing Drift - Silly me. I must have been snookered; that’s really a site run by bolshies posing as conservative Virginians.

I’m just telling you what the Dem strategy is for the next two weeks. From the mouth of their campaign director.

And this answers the questions posed to you how?

If those comments of Bob’s are enough to get you to remove your “support” of him, I do not believe for one minute you ever supported him in the first place.

Defend the science of global warming. NOW.

Defend why on earth a conservative would pander to liars and fricking communists that want to destroy American industry and regulate the totality of our lives. GO.

If you consider his opposition to cap and trade pandering, suit yourself.

I’m sorry for you that I don’t meet your litmus test for a “true” conservative. I happen to have this funny habit at looking at the entire picture, not just a pixel or two.

I stand by my opinion that you were never a McDonnell supporter to begin with and are just looking for some self justification with this nonsense.

McDonnell didn’t say anything in support of cap-and-trade, and said he didn’t think man was causing global warming, but he would trust the science (which is what we conservatives do, trust the science, not the propaganda).

There are some people who are running around FR trashing McDonnell for no reason I can tell, I know some of them are Palin supporters upset that she isn’t coming to Virginia, and maybe that’s part of it.

This is astonishing. I don’t know if it’s accurate. I tend to put most credence into Rasmussen Reports. But it’s significant. Let’s see how the other polls pan out.

I read some stuff about Ken C and he is awesome! Sounds like Reagan. He should be a senator in VA or POTUS.

We currently have a POS in the white hut.

I doubt it will be this lopsided on election day, but the polls consistently show McDonnell with a solid lead. I think he will win on election day.

Now, what about The Garden State?

I was in Panera Bread tonight and some people were having a meeting. It was about 20 people and it was some political grassroots meeting. They did not look like Democrats. They were 50 to 70 years old and dress very middle class. I tried to overhear what they were talking about. They looked concerned and worried.

No way they could have been Dems because the Dems control everything now in DC. I never saw anything like that. My guess is they were Repubs because they were seniors and baby boomers who will be ROYALLY screwed under Obama.

Their comfortable retirement could be a soup line if we go into a depression which is more than 50/50.

The point is anyone over 45 years old with an IQ above 50 is a scared and I mean really scared. They should be. A lot of them voted for this.

That could be part of it, I agree. But I really think it is more than that.

I think the majority just don't belong here at all and are only here now because of the widespread implications of a McDonnell win for 2010. Just look at the number of VA Gov race threads here compared to the number for the NJ Gov race.

The outcome here in VA means a lot to the Powers that Be and they are becoming far more tha scared........they're terrified.
