Well, Barney, I must say that the JBS was and is far more patriotic, self reliant, intelligent, and useful to society than you liberals and the commie frauds you saddled this country with now.

And just so you know, you little twit, Bill Ayers wrote Obama's book for him. Yes, that Bill Ayers - the one you stinking liberals call "a respected member of the education community" and the one Birchers and all other red blooded Americans believe should be hanged from a lamp post for treason.

It used to be that if you saw a socialist behind every tree you were paranoid. Now it’s because there’s a socialist behind every tree.

Back in Hofstadter's day this sort of thinking at least had something supremely rational going for it: The existence of the Soviet Union and its desire to bring the West to its knees

Oh, the left finally noticed that, did they?

Well, here’s a conspiracy for you ... the “Birther” label was cooked up precisely because it sounds like “Bircher,” and the plan all along has been to marginalize and discredit anyone who questions whether Obama actually is eligible under the Constitution. Tar them with the Bircher brush.

And, furthermore, ready-made “conspiracies” were sprung, not surprisingly with the aid of websites like Daily Kos, to suck the opposition in and discredit them. The so-called “fake” online birth certificate was is a major case in point, that seemed tailor made to target FReepers wanting to relive the glory days of Rathergate.

We had a university administrator and former psychologist (three guesses whether such a person is Republican or not), with a very questionable past, having set himself up previously as an “online dating expert,” who created and refined another online persona, then signed up to FR and presented himself as an authority on document analysis, and he drew quite a crowd. Never mind that a JPEG can’t prove anything. That was the point. While everybody in opposition to Obama, who had suspicions about his eligibility, were busy chasing their tails with this red herring, Obama sailed right into office, with the obvious, Constitutional disqualification of a foreign father just laying out in the open.

So, there’s conspiring alright. Conspiring to harness conspiratorial mindsets with manufactured conspiracies, and then beating us over the head with them.

The “Birthers” do a great job. Regardless of the truth, a significant percentage of Americans will always believe that Obama is illegitimate. and that doesn’t hurt a bit.

Someone at the WSJ needs to read the parts on Hofstadter in the extemely well documented and researched Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg. Imagine the now-Fox owned newspaper of business writing this tripe. No wonder IBD is doing so well.

These “smart” people don’t read much, do they? He can’t think of one reason why Obama’s relatives would lie about where he was born? Ask any illegal immigrant why someone might lie about citizenship issues. Good grief.

My eldest son has finally lived long enough to see the sanity of the “paranoia” of conservatives: the amoral liberal’s nose under the tent progressing to full blow wrecking crew insanity with the homosexual movement.

Frank has not lived with his eyes open or he has no culture, ideals, ethics and morals he does not want the leftist State to crush out of our society and lives as a Nation.

Looks like the Birchers were right. The Birthers may be also.

Being a “birther” has little to do with Obama’s birth certificate. The birth certificate is just a symbol of all of the stuff that Obama keeps hidden from the American People.

Obama has lived for almost 50 years without leaving any footprints — none! There is no Obama documentation — no bona fides — no paper trail — nothing.

Original, vault copy birth certificate — Not released (lawyers’ fees = $2,000,000 ~ birth certificate = $15)
Certification of Live Birth — Released — Counterfeit
Obama/Dunham marriage license — Not released (if one exists)
Obama/Dunham divorce — Released (by independent investigators)
Kindergarten records — Records lost (this is a big one — read two frames)
Soetoro/Dunham marriage license — Not released
Soetoro adoption records — Not released
Fransiskus Assisi School School application — Released (by independent investigators)
Punahou School records — Not released
Soetoro/Dunham divorce — Released (by independent investigators)
Selective Service Registration — Released — Counterfeit
Social Security Number — Under suspicion
Occidental College records — Not released
Passport — Not released and records scrubbed clean by Obama’s terrorism and intelligence adviser.
Columbia College records — Not released
Columbia thesis — “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament” — Not released
Harvard College records — Not released
Harvard Law Review articles — None
Illinois Bar Records — Not released.
Baptism certificate — None
Medical records — Not released
Illinois State Senate records — None
Illinois State Senate schedule — Lost
Law practice client list — Not released
University of Chicago scholarly articles — None

You wouldn’t hire a guy with this CV to mow your lawn.

Thomas “What the matter with Kansas” Frank and Hofstadter are both full of it. Especially Hofstadter seeing how he’s been dead for a while. Paranoia fully exists in the Democrat Party and upper reaches of libdom. You only have to visit Dummyunderground for a few minutes to view real nutty paranoid behavior on exhibit. Hofstadter wrote that article forty-five years ago in a direct attack on Barry Goldwater in an effort to get him defeated. Which worked. LBJ got elected, and we know how his admin turned out. But what does Frank say now about conservative paranoia with the Obama admin attempts to shut down FOX news and conservative talk radio. Who’s being paranoid?

Think about this.

Its a fact that we have elected a dual citizen at birth.

This now means that in the future we can elect the King of England to the Presidency, if the Prince has his wife give birth on US soil.

Democrats now argue that birth on us soil, regardless of parentage is a “Natural Born Citizen”.

230 years after removing the king of England from our Government, we now qualify him as a presidential candidate without amending the constitution.

As events are playing out, the Birchers were "not paranoid enough". Well a few were, but most of them, and certainly the rest of the country were not anywhere near paranoid enough.

Now we are paying the price.

What drivel.

I just sat through 8 years of skull & bones secret society, WTC brought down by Mossad on Bush's orders, Bush controlling oil prices to enrich his friends, the CIA listening in on my phone calls, geronimo's skull, the Dixie Chicks on Bush's death list, conservatives rigging national elections, Laura Bush murdering her high school boyfriend, bin Laden a personal friend of Bush, Cheney secretly running the government with Rupert Murdoch at his side, etc...

Now, suddenly this guy sees wacky conspiracy theories.

“Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence, (I conjure you to believe me fellow citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake; since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of Republican Government.
