(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - Three-in-ten Americans think their current head of state was not born in the United States, according to a poll by Angus Reid Strategies. 70 per cent of respondents believe Barack Obama was born in the U.S., while 30 per cent do not.
While only 13 per cent of Democratic Party supporters believe Obama was not born in the U.S., the proportion rises to 25 per cent among Independents and 51 per cent among Republican Party backers.
In American elections, candidates require 270 votes in the Electoral College to win the White House. In November 2008, Democratic nominee Obama secured a majority of electoral votes, defeating Republican candidate John McCain. In January, Obama became the first African American president in U.S. history.
Article II of the U.S. Constitution establishes that only "natural born" American citizens are eligible to become presidents.
Last year, the Obama campaign team released a Certification of Live Birth, which states that Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Aug. 4, 1961. The State of Hawaii only allows for the release of an original birth certificate under "extenuating circumstances."
Earlier this month, former House majority leader Tom Delay discussed his views on Obama’s birth, saying, "Why wouldn’t the president of the United States show the American people his birth certificate? You have to show a birth certificate to play Little League baseball. It’s a question that should be answered. It’s in the Constitution that you have to be a natural born citizen of the United States to be president."

Strange that a third of the country believes Obama is not a natural born citizen, yet Obama refuses to simply show his Birth Certificate to prove he is.
Also strange that a third of the country believes that the President is illegitimate by not being a natural born citizen, yet the media is afraid to look into that story..
Any poll that doesn’t have an option for “I don’t know whether he was born in the US” is not an honest poll, because an obvious answer for an intelligent person is that there is not enough public information on which to base a belief.
In an honest poll I would bet that the combined percentage of “I believe he was not born in the US” and “I don’t know whether he was born in the US” would be quite high.
The liberals do not want to offer that alternative answer, because it would place pressure on Obama to release more documents about himself.
latest is that the address on his Selective Service registration card is an upscale condo in Oahu (one that the child of a single mother who was an erstwhile grad student could likely not afford). Heard anything on that?
If Obama had been born in the US; he would have produced a bc right off the bat. He did not and has spent millions of dollars covering up. Why should we believe he was born in the US? He hasn’t produced one piece of credible evidence.

So, how in the world, could a dual national be considered a Natural Born Citizen? They can't.
Look into the property tax rolls of Hawaii and see if the condo development came later than the time he is said to have lived there.

He is not a decendent of Slaves.

That is exactly what has happened with Obama. It shows the insights and wisdom of our founding fathers.
Not long ago, on FR, an English person pointed out that the Kenyans hated the English colonials and overthrew them with the help of Marxists. They pointed out that Obama shows all the hatred of the English and the affinity for Marxism that is typical of educated post-colonial Kenyans.
Kenyans of the colonial era also would smile to deceive their overlords, not revealing their hatred of their white overlords. Obama is doing the same thing. He smiles so everyone will not catch on that he hates the whites and he hates our traditions. And he hates America being what he regards as the overlords of the world.
