Carbon Pawprints (Save The Earth -Eat Your Pet)

Environmentalism: As polls show belief in global warming is dropping, a new study suggests that dogs and cats, like people, are a plague upon the earth. They say people should have edible pets. Here, kitty, kitty.

A new Pew Research Center study conducted Sept. 30-Oct. 4 says the number of Americans who think there's solid evidence the average temperature on earth has been getting warmer over the past few decades has plummeted from 71% in April 2008 to 57% today.

Over the same period, there's been a comparable decline in the proportion of Americans who say global temperatures are rising as a result of human activity, such as burning fossil fuels.

Just 36% say that today, down from 47% last year. Part of this decline is perhaps due to the increasing number of scientists who have come forward to say that while the earth has been warming, it has not been dangerously so, and that in the past decade it has actually cooled. The people don't need to be told that — they can feel it themselves

This story reminds me that I haven’t had Chinese food for awhile. I was meaning to try PF Changs as they have talked about it on the South Park program.

Why should the dog die when his master is the one creating the carbon footprint?? Suicide would feed the dog too?

Pray for America

I have long referred to our beloved cats as “the emergency food supply."

Actually what they are advising is to keep ‘pets’ such as chickens, rabbits and goats with an eye towards putting them on the table eventually. Not eating cats or dogs.

Heh, we already decided way before this that our mutt might be too old and tough but the Husky is young and very muscular and might fill the freezer for a month or so. And my son observed the other night that her coat would make a lovely human coat, lol.

Mark Levin mentioned this book last night. According to the author, a large pet's carbon foot, I mean, pawprint is the same as an SUV's. (or something along those lines)

Reeeeeeeeee-diculous! The enviro-whackos have jumped the shark!!

The garbage that 'new scientist' posted, the article this one is referring to, claims it takes over one million square miles to feed the pets in the top ten pet owning countries. Just the dogs and cats. Absolute, undeniable, rubbish. If anyone cares to read it.

My hubby was just joking last night about which one of our cats he’d want to eat first if he had to!!! Definitely, Beaux...he’s definitely “meatier”. Probably tastes like chicken...not..no way...I’d rather starve!!!

Yeah but you forgot to mention the line Levin had right after that, which was “Hey, how ‘bout this.....let’s eat a couple of college professors? I mean, they’ve got to leave a carbon footprint of a couple of SUV’s or something!”

LOL
