After Barack Obamas defenders accused critics of his Nobel Peace Prize of being un-American for criticizing the award, Gallup polled over 1500 adults to determine the public response to it. Surprisingly, Gallup found that 61% of Americans hate America at least according to Obamas defenders:
The majority of Americans do not believe President Barack Obama deserved to win the Nobel Peace Prize (61%), but the public is split in its personal reaction to the announcement. Asked if they are glad Obama received the prize, 46% of Americans say yes and 47% say no.
The USA Today/Gallup poll conducted about a week after the announcement did not ask Americans whether they believe that the award may ultimately be deserved, or whether it was appropriately given in anticipation of the potential of the Obama administrations peace efforts. The central question simply asked whether Obama deserved the award, and found Americans by roughly a 2-to-1 margin saying no rather than yes.

Ping.
Charles Krauthammer nailed it when he observed that the socialist idiots in Norway bestowed the Nobel on Obozo for nothing more than “...his general splendidness.”
What’s wrong with the other 49%? Can’t be that many reality show participants in America can there?
We have 39% of Americans that are STUPID.
So, a substantial number of people are pleased that someone got something undeserved.
Shocking.
FOR WHAT????
I hope ACORN appreciated the $1mm contribution!
Of course the head socialist accepted the ‘prize’
What’s wrong with the other 39%???
I should check - maybe I’m in the 39% and forgot. Thanks, not enough coffee yet.
And dishonest. If you ask them, "What specifically did he do to deserve this," they wouldn't be able even to begin to answer (they would attack your motives but not give an answer). And yet their nonexistent leads them to the conclusion that he deserves the prize.
This high percentage is an accurate measure of Obama's PERSONALITY CULT, much like the cult of Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and Mao. Americans used to be made from a different material, but no longer...
Amazing! If this nation had a smidgen of sanity left, that number would be at least 90 percent. This is sad.
Even if you LIKE Obama, it’s hard to see how anyone at all could say that he DESERVED the prize. I noticed a lot of nervousness and uneasy laughter among the liberals when this prize was announced. The widespread feeling, I think, was that it did him more harm than good, because it made him look ridiculous.
I suppose it’s simply a mtter of showing support. If you approve of Obama, then you vote yes, even though you don’t really think he deserved it.
Because many if not most people respond to such polls on a key political figure not by what they really think, but by whether or not they want to pump up or deflate his reputation.
Obumber had better begin plotting an exit policy to escape from the White House.
There has never been a president tarred and feathered and this event will be something to behold.
(Usually you get kissed when you get screwed.)
I sent an email to the Nobel Peace Prize committee......told them their little prize has now diminished to the point of being on the same level as American Soap Opera awards.
It’s a shame they chose to gloss over the other noteworthy, ideal candidates, who had actually done something. A time honored award, demeaned.
The question is still being asked......”What has he done?”.....and yet, he plods forward with his agenda which will continue to strip America of our freedoms, to the thunderous applause and adulation of the msm.
I cant wait for Oscar night
LOL! What a visual.
It just put the finishing touch on a long process of debasement.
Al Gore got the Nobel Peace Prize? Even if you believe in global warming, how does it have to do with war and peace?
But, of course, the main problem is that the have given it to appeasers like Jimmy Carter, who have done more to increase violence in the world by their fecklessness. Or Yassir Arafat, just to show that they love Palestinians, even though few have been more responsible for bringing irrational violence to the world.
There are three kinds of people in the world: those who can do math, and those who can't.
“Gallup : 61% of Americans think Obama Nobel undeserved”
That is a ridiculously low number. Everyone, and I mean everyone(!) knows it’s undeserved. Only difference is those of us who hate him anyway are free to tell the truth.
“told them their little prize has now diminished to the point of being on the same level as American Soap Opera awards”
Their only hope is to one day rise again to the level of the Cable Ace Awards. Or maybe one day the Independent Spirit Awards, but don’t hold your breath.
“But, of course, the main problem is that the have given it to appeasers like Jimmy Carter, who have done more to increase violence in the world by their fecklessness”
Recall, if you will, that Carter got the award ostensibly for building houses (through Habitat for Humanity), which also has nothing to do with peace. If it was for the Camp David Accords (which, by the way, he had little to do with), they would have given it to him in the 70s.
They’ll say it’s for a lifetime of human rights service, and blah, blah, blah. Which amounts to giving him an award for a lifetime of general liberal-ness.
54% of Americans fold toilet paper neatly, 35% wad it, the remaining 11% is undecided as to what they do.
This has nothing to do with the article but about as relevant as Obama getting a Nobel Prize.
There are 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don’t...
Nice to know you’ve never made a mistake. I think I can do math at least the engineering degree may be one sign.
We’re handing out Nobel Prizes for Halloween. Bought 4” diameter chocolate gold coins with the sash already attached at World Market. Got a copy of the Nobel Prize off the internet, scaled to print at 4” diameter. Cut em out and glue to the coin. Presto! Nobels for everyone!

I’ve learned my lesson never post before the first cup of cofee. have a good one.
Yes, I concur wholeheartedly. The Big O is well-deserving of the Nobel Appease Price. [Peace at any Price]
