Symptoms of pig flu: Adults and children may have fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headaches, chills and fatigue, may also have diarrhea and vomiting.

Why is this different than any other flu?

Imagine kids being out of school with the flu. Why this has NEVER happened before.

Albie, like you said, this is the a never let a crisis go to waste moment for sure. And some on our side have been more than thrilled to help panic people. (I’m not referring to you here. Just wanted to make sure you knew it.)

One of our local stations described the symptoms this way. The H1N1 symptoms have been mild compared to some other influenza outbreaks. And that’s the way it is, Saturday, October 24, 2009.

I dont discount those, either. Consider all the THOUSANDS (more than just in 9-11) that died at the hands of illegal aliens on American soil, under both the post-9-11 W and Obama Administrations.

Not saying there isn’t a widespread outbreak somewhere, but both my wife and I teach in schools in Queens NYC. Each school is over 1500 kids and staffs of 100. Our attendance is running at 95% and my school is averaging 2-5 teachers out a day for all causes. No student of mine has been out more than two consecutive days. And I see 95 kids a day. My daughter works in Penn Station and has noticed no lesssening of the crowds there or on the LIRR going to and from work. Nor has she noticed coughing etc on the trains.
I know these are anecdotals but something’s not right here.

A "National Emergency", heh?

Barry, oops I mean Oberstgruppenführer Rahm Emanuel, better tread lightly with this "National Emergency" and any 'Emergency Directives' issued.

If they go for an end run around the Law, like Katrina v2.0, watch out.
The feces will hit the ventilator.

It is unbelievable that this crap has legs. When I was kid I remember getting all kinds of flu. Vomiting, killer diarrhea, killer sore throats, killer congested lungs. I feared catching the flu not wanting to go through the torture. But 99% of us lived to be well inoculated healthy adults. Nature is nature and we are naturally inoculated by catching flu.

Why? Because the CDC, the NIH, and a bunch of calamity queens said so. What’s wrong with you?

Well... nothing. You’re just one of those dunderheads that actually puts their thinking cap on.

Good for you.

Further, the state of Washington has approved the use of mercury as a transmitting medium. What are the side effects of injecting a human with mercury? How many children will come down with autism as a result?

Probably none because autism has never been shown to be a result of any amount of thiomersal.

Girl Scout motto, be prepared.

Do me a favor all, let’s get an actual timeline, along with the recent articles from the CDC and WHO on the swine flu not being what they thought... we also need ‘verification’ of deaths reported as caused by H1N1.

The timeline of nothing being done as Mexicans wore masks and China checking deboarding flight passengers (yes, and even the Biden ‘I told my family not to go on planes’ video); The lack of vaccines as well as the adverse effects to some who took the vaccine. (Lexus Nexus and searches on cases that have been brought due to exemption, damages and scientists that have spoken against... with bonafides in the industry).

Send me the links, or a link to a thread that might have been started already.

On a Saturday no less.

Contacting Sweetness and Light as well as other blogs that follow this. Will bring back links.

P.S. We need the timeline of Emergency Powers Act, exact language re: health emergencies, any articles from states or DC showing any movement towards quarantine inside or outside the home.

P.P.S. We also need to see if Daschle, Emanuel, Holdren and the other eugenicists have ever spoken, written, given talks re: this situation. And news stories on congress and the prez’s family getting their shots and where they were given.

Someone posted the funds doled out for vaccine manufacture to five pharma firms; we need that up with the site links re: testing, press releases, news.

Yes. I was thinking about the 1000 dead mentioned. (...the United States reels from...over 1,000 deaths)

Wikipedia informs: “In Philadelphia for example, 4,597 people died in the week ending October 16 [1918].”

President Barack Obama has declared swine flu a "national emergency,"...

Didn't I read a few days ago that BO is not getting his kids vaccinated?

Is this an *emergency* for us but not them???

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Emergencies_Act

At least two constitutional rights are subject to revocation during a state of emergency:

* The right of habeas corpus, under Article 1, Section 9;
* The right to a grand jury for members of the National Guard when in actual service, under Fifth Amendment.

In addition, many provisions of statutory law are contingent on a state of national emergency, as many as 500 by one count.[1]
