It's Time for Obama to Get a Clue
American Thinker ^ | October 24, 2009 | Lauri B. Regan

Posted on 10/24/2009 11:59:04 AM PDT by Deepest End

If Obama and his Chicago thugs simply focused on the country's real enemies rather than American citizens and institutions which provide constructive criticism and honest discourse on the policies emanating from the White House, effective policy might be put in place which would advance an agenda supported by a true majority of citizens. But rather, we see an administration so focused on what, in its paranoid state, it perceives as enemies, that all of its energies are centered on discrediting Bush and Cheney, Fox News, talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, town hall attendees, tea party organizers, health insurance companies, Wall Street executives, and a sundry other groups not yet in their pockets.

I don't know about the rest of the American citizens, but I'm getting pretty sick of watching the Obamas spend our tax dollars going out on date nights, hosting gala affairs at the White House, dancing a jig to whatever latest ethnic music group fills their politically correct agenda, traveling the world caving to the country's true enemies, and perpetually campaigning while the country is going to pot. Enough of blaming Bush for every wrong in the world. What was the point of taking on the presidency if they didn't have a plan to turn the country in the right direction and help American citizens better their lives? Did they think it was going to be easy?

Now we are told that Obama is naïve, that he does have a clue, that he does not get it. Nothing could be further from the truth. Obama is not stupid, not inarticulate, not naïve, and he certainly knows what he is doing. He is governing according to his lights and he's doing it remarkably well.

Your point is well taken, however on some aspects, I would argue that he is naive and inarticulate, and frankly I am convinced he is not very intelligent and could very easily be classified as "stupid".

His puppet masters on the other hand ....

Obama is not clueless.

He has no intention of governing. It's not paranoid fantasy to state that Obama intends to be a dictator. He's a common thug who embraces Marxism.

The belief in Marxism is real as the Communists who surround him.

The list is long.

Today he assumes emergency powers with Swineflu as the excuse.

He has taken over industries and intends to take over more. He has bullied corporations and seeks to set executives' wages.

He intends to exert control over the internet through "net neutrality", controlling the greatest medium of free speech ever invented.

Obama will not reveal his long form birth certificate and many other records that conceal his past and no hospital will claim him.

Obama is not clueless. He will undermine this country.

Everyone needs to get a clue.

The boy ain’t right. Skills? Organizing the ‘opposition’, that’s all folks. Even sucks at beer summits.

but, but, but ... he is a peace prize winner!

Doesn't that account for something?

We agree on the effect and impact, however I tend to believe he is personally clueless, and is simply doing the bidding of others.

They have an "attitude" of entitlement and like other nouveau riche wannabes
they have a taste for conspicuous consumption and showing off for their friends.
It's a way of working through self-esteem issues and resentments. $500 sneakers.
But they do seem very out of touch with what's going on in the country and how this comes across.
Disengaged.

You nailed it!! They had this planned and ORGANIZED all along. I’m quite sure in my mind that Obama, even whilst being a Fraud and not even being eligible for the Office of President, won the election by Acorn voter fraud. Massive fraud. More than the American people can probably even fathom. Nothing but disaster for America will proceed from this grotesque tyrant. CO

Is anyone in America waking up, or are they all still waiting for Obama to pay their rent and buy their gas?

Well said indeed!! America will NEVER get rid of this thug without force. When, in history, has Communism or Marxism or Fascism ever been dislodged peacefully? Never. CO

Obamao did not select Van Jones, Anita Dunn, et al
through sloppy vetting, but rather targeted vetting.

He is completely full of himself and at this point, thinks he is invincible. He has nothing but disdain for America and her people.

Amen to that. He and his thugs are precisely why Hamilton warned:

"The fabric of American empire ought to rest on the solid basis of THE CONSENT OF THE PEOPLE. The streams of national power ... flow from that pure, original fountain of all legitimate authority.

- Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 22, December 14, 1787

... or ...

As Paine warned (my tagline):

"It is the duty of the patriot to protect his country from its government."

Well, they have kinda' gone after Cheney a bit lately however me thinks they know they would lose that fight and are backing off.

Rep. Alan Grayson describing Cheney as a vampire who wants to shoot old men

“In 0bama’s mind, the country’s real enemies ARE the American citizens and institutions which provide constructive criticism and honest discourse on the policies.

He is really an incredibly stupid individual. Here’s a guy that won the election by 5-6 percentage points and for some reason things he can ignore and demonize those who he views as “not his kinda’ people and who likely did not vote for him.
Message to Junior: It was no mandate and, from a recent poll on 43% said they would vote for you again. So, grow up or resign.

This is just too good not to share ..... Email that I just got.

Gubmint and How Gubmint Works

Once upon a time the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of a desert. Congress said, “Someone may steal from it at night.” So they created a night watchman position and hired a person for the job.

Then Congress said, “How does the watchman do his job without instruction?” So they created a planning department and hired two people, one person to write the instructions, and one person to do time studies.

Then Congress said, “How will we know the night watchman is doing the tasks correctly?” So they created a Quality Control department and hired two people. One to do the studies and one to write the reports.

Then Congress said, “How are these people going to get paid?” So They created the following positions, a time keeper, and a payroll officer, Then hired two people. Then Congress said, “Who will be accountable for all of these people?” So they created an administrative section and hired three people, an Administrative Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, and a Legal Secretary.

Then Congress said, “We have had this command in operation for one Year and we are $18,000 over budget, we must cutback overall cost.” So they laid off the night watchman. NOW slowly, let it sink in. Quietly, we go like sheep to slaughter.

Does anybody remember the reason given for the establishment of the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY..... during the Carter Administration? Anybody? Anything? No? Didn’t think so!

Bottom line. We’ve spent several hundred billion dollars in support of an agency...the reason for which not one person who reads this can remember!

Ready?? It was very simple...and at the time, everybody thought it very appropriate.

The Department of Energy was instituted on 8-04-1977 under Jimmy Carter. TO LESSEN OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL.

Hey, pretty efficient, huh???

AND NOW IT’S 2009 — 32 YEARS LATER — AND THE BUDGET FOR THIS “NECESSARY” DEPARTMENT IS AT $24.2 BILLION A YEAR.. THEY HAVE 16,000 FEDERAL EMPLOYEES AND APPROXIMATELY 100,000 CONTRACT EMPLOYEES; AND LOOK AT THE JOB THEY HAVE DONE! THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND SAY, “WHAT WAS I THINKING?”

Ah, yes — good ole bureaucracy.

AND, NOW, WE ARE GOING TO TURN THE BANKING SYSTEM, HEALTH CARE, AND THE AUTO INDUSTRY OVER TO THE SAME GOVERNMENT?
HELLOOO! Anybody Home? Only the sheeple and Socialists?

Brilliant deduction....

A vampire with a fixation to kill via a firearm.

A student of Economics 101 would understand the significance of the Laffer curve -- that borrowing money, printing money, and taxing the citizens will only result in a devastated economy and a ruined nation.

So would a student of Cloward-Piven Strategy.
