Why are tens of thousands of US soldiers risking their lives for South Korea? Why are US Taxpayers on the hjook for South Korea’s defense?

South Korea has double the population and 100 times the economy of the North, yet they can’t seem to be able to defend themselves.

I wouldn’t trade a little finger of a single US Soldier for a million Koreans. I would not expect them to defend us, either.

Not to mention that China has a vast untapped resource in the continent of Africa, which they have now all but colonized. The US and Western powers dropped the ball on Africa and China will pick it up and run.

It’s all about the US holding on to its empire, just like the UK tried. Korea gives up a point for force projection in the Pacific (along with Japan and Australia).

Its worse than that. I work with older South Koreans here and they at least understand and appreciate that they aren’t living with their ‘’cousins’’ in one big, happy workers paradise but the youth of S.Korea and some of the older S. Koreans think we did nothing for them sixty years ago , don’t doing anything for them presently and would be happy to see us out their country. I remember thumbing through an issue of The National Geographic magazine and seeing an article titled’’The Two Koreas’’ I came across a picture of a resteruant in Seoul with a sign in the window, in English, “Americans not welcome’’. Nice people.

If you see the movie, “Crossing”, or read the book, “The Acquariums of Pyomyang”, then in my opinion you have absolutely NO reason to listen to any US adminstration offical ever again regarding the topic of the DPRK —they could teach you absolutely nothing. They would give you long, academic answers to any question you had, and nothing they said would be clear.

In fact, many of them have a very strong interest in the perpetuation of the Nork nightmare.

The most annoying aspect of the problem is the thinking of liberal and middle-of the road SK’ers. Below I summarize the key schizophrenic tenants:

1. Protect us, Uncle Sam.
2. Uncle Sam, you’re protecting us in an excessively noisy/expensive maner.
3. The Norks are our blood brothers —our family. We love them.
4. We hate Norks who escape to South Korea to start new lives.
5. There are not 2 Korean —only one.
6. Re-unification sounds really expensive; we saw that from the German example.

HOW DOES ONE RECONCILE THOSE SIX THINGS....?

They don’t, which leads to hatred of anything that points out their mental psychosis.

IE: why they hate NK defectors and the USFK.
