Very interesting.

Hmm, Hmm, Hmm; John Sidney McCain:

Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, all is moderate again...

I wouuld like to know if any of the talking heads asks the question today: "Does what Barack Obama did to try to block Fox News access to the White House rise to the level of an impeachable offense?" Just because the lap-dog media stuck with freedom of the press this one time, does not mean they will be consistent. Don't forget that CNN is on record as caving into Saddam Hussein in order to get access to that regime.

So, does that mean the WH war on FNC is over? Clearly the backlash against the WH last week, regarding eliminating Fox from the pool interview of the pay czar, must have awakened them. Perhaps Dunn’s talk about “controlling the media” might have finally knocked some sense into the LSM, or is that wishful thinking on my part.

I’m interested to see if Howie addresses this on (Un)Reliable Sources this morning.

I think it just means they do not want to be asked any questions regarding the feud.

...or they could be punishing the media for going against them.

Who knows these people are paranoid.

Well they might not be in attendance but you can be sure there are going to be quite a few questions from the media to those who are appearing on the shows.

It will be interesting to see if their surrogates have a special spin set up.

What's he that wishes so?

My cousin Westmoreland? No, my fair cousin; If we are mark'd to die, we are enow To do our country loss; and if to live, The fewer men, the greater share of honour. God's will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.

By Jove, I am not covetous for gold, Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost; It yearns me not if men my garments wear; Such outward things dwell not in my desires. But if it be a sin to covet honour, I am the most offending soul alive.

No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England. God's peace! I would not lose so great an honour As one man more methinks would share from me

For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more! Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host, That he which hath no stomach to this fight, Let him depart; his passport shall be made, And crowns for convoy put into his purse; We would not die in that man's company That fears his fellowship to die with us.

This day is call'd the feast of Crispian. He that outlives this day, and comes safe home, Will stand a tip-toe when this day is nam'd, And rouse him at the name of Crispian. He that shall live this day, and see old age, Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours, And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian.' Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars, And say 'These wounds I had on Crispian's day.' Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot, But he'll remember, with advantages, What feats he did that day. Then shall our names, Familiar in his mouth as household words- Harry the King, Bedford and Exeter, Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester- Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb'red. This story shall the good man teach his son;

And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by, From this day to the ending of the world, But we in it shall be remembered- We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;

For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, This day shall gentle his condition; And gentlemen in England now-a-bed Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Thanks for the thread AB and all you do as well.

Hope things are cooling off in ALA, we had to turn the A/C back on after two days of cool weather.

Sort of a better than nothing lineup. When you see Chuck U, McQueeg and other regulars it opens up question such as why? We already know what these bozos will predictably say,how can the DBM be so lame as to put forth the same ol' same ol' when FNC is already eating their lunch and now going after their breakfast and dinner.

Looks like the letter nets will never get it. They seem ready to go down with the leftward leaning ship of fools.

Morning ABB, All....

...quickly signed in as I sing in the choir this morning...”All the Earth Will Sing for Joy”. Saw your post and stopped my other post as, indeed, I heard too that there would be no Obama folks on ANY of the Sunday talk shows.

Heh.

Write this in the history books...one day they send Obama on ALL the networks except Fox. The next week they send Obama spokesnoids on various and sundry shows to lambaste Fox. The week following the administration’s disastrous attempt to take over full control of this country’s news media, and its failure...NO spokesnoids on any of the Sunday talk shows.

I mean hey, it’s not like Obama don’t have a health care bill which could use some hyping, the problem in Afghanistan which could use some addressing, maybe the swine flu and the total lack of vaccine.

No sirree....it’s about The Won, his fragile ego, his continual loss of any kind of respect from the American people, capped this past week with that slap in the face from the fawning media and of course the man refuses to eat the crow he so deserves.

This morning, as I sing for joy, I will pray for my country.

I know that prayers work.

Conservatives really need to take a long, hard look at the republican party and buy a clue.

And get off their butts and take their party back.

If Conservatives cannot even get organized enough to take back the GOP from the RINOS, they are certainly not organized enough to form a 3rd party that will be anything but a fringe spoiler.

Conservative should of learned this lesson with Perot and the "Reform" party fiasco during the late 1990s. Splintering into smaller and smaller factions does nothing but elect more and more Democrats.

The solution is to fight for control of the GOP, not run away.

"Just because the lap dog media stuck with freedom of the press this one time...."

That could be a matter of opinion.

My take is that if the administration succeeded in isolating FNC and refusing to acknowledge them the blowback in new listeners/viewers going to Fox could have really had an even worse adverse effect on the DBM. Their losses are already steady and declining why accelerate them.

Think about it, viewers would have flocked to FNC instead of just a slow, steady move as they have now.

The DBM supported FNC out of self preservation IMHO,not a love of a free press which they probably hate.

“F&F

Gingrich interviewed.

Basically, he said to the ‘conservatives’ regarding the upstate NY race, ‘Butt out. It’s none of YOUR business.’

He went on to say it was a local election with local values, and so what if the upstaters want to elect a liberal — Hoffman was polling last, while Scozzafava was polling first.”

We need a transcript and a thread on this. My blood is still boiling after watching him on F&F.

It's so sad that the entrenched Rinos, that obviously still have way too much say in the party, just don't get it.

Had the RNC/local NY party run the conservative candidate we would never have had a three way split.

Aside from that, given the choice liberalism usually fails when a conservative candidate is in the mix. It works even in many liberal areas as well.

We should listen to Ronald Reagan, conservatism works every time its tried.

If they had run the Conservative candidate Hoffman, in place of their Liberal crony, the locals pols would not be facing defeat in a seat the GOP has held since the Civil War.

Hoffman would win in a walk if the locals had been smart enough to pick him rather then their buddy.

Thank GOD people at least some of the GOP leaders get it. for example, Palin endorsed Hoffman.

I missed Newt, but heard about this on a couple of other threads.

As one of those “big donors” (I gave Hoffman a $9.12 donation) I wish Newt would just shut up. There is little to defend in his endorsement. He still believes Scozzafava (Scuzzobama?) with her tax pledge.

Only problem is Newt left out some facts. This was a crony pick by local party bosses not the will of the voters in this district. Newt might of had a point if this person had beat Hoffman in an primary, she didn’t. She was selected, not elected.

"John McCain, R-Ariz"

Every darn week.

McCain is running for 2012. 0 is an intentional 4-year president (NAMBLA czars, commie czars, would this EVER happen???). McCain was told he could have 2012, that's why he got the front row seat at the inaugauration, & etc.

Watch & see.

Very possibly we'll see the left kill obama & blame it on racist/anti-abortion whitey. The only way to stop that move is make it a cliche. Get it out there as much as possible NOW.

AMEN BROTHER!

These 3rd, 4th, 5th party trolls...really fry my bacon.

They need to see what majority (not plurality) means in a legislature. Of course the "Undies" (my term for undeclareds) would have neither, but rather would prolong the conservative's 40 years of wandering in the wilderness.

My constant message to all disaffected conservatives is:

For the fastest most devastating results to the statists...stay on your message, secretly run your candidates under both major party labels during primaries under the D and R banners. And then against each other in the general. (The D undie could "accidently" help the R undie)

Bang! instant control.

I'm sure you could find plenty to be proud of from the history of the newly reclaimed GOP.

The "D" undies that might win? Well, they could either switch to independent status after about 5 minutes of democrat attempts to berate, abuse and armtwist them - or - The real good undie actors" and actresses could stay Ds and foment riots within the D cauci.
